Netflix has announced the anime “The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep”

Netflix has announced that an anime is in development "The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep". As the title suggests, the film will be based on one of the works of the famous Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski about the monster hunter Geralt. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer and teaser.

It is known that Doug Coakley will be the voice actor for the main character. He also gave his voice to The Witcher in a series of games from CD Projekt. In addition, other actors who will take part in the film have already been announced: Buttercup will speak in the voice of British actor and singer Joey Batey, and Yennefer will speak in the voice of British actress Anya Chalotra.

It is too early to talk about the exact release date of the project, but the authors of the film say that this will happen at the end of next year.
