Triple banners, Bai Zhu's abilities and other leaks from Genshin Impact

A couple of days ago it was reported that HoYoverse going to split the patch for Genshin Impact into three phases, each of which will feature two 5-star characters, that is, one phase will last two weeks (now the update is divided into two phases, lasting three weeks each). This is planned to ensure that players do not have to wait for the rerun of their favorite heroes for a year.

Previously, it was not known exactly when the transition to the new banner system would take place. Now Team China notes that this will happen between versions 4.0 and 4.3. However, the insider does not exclude that the developers can postpone this innovation to a later date.

Many informants confirm the expansion of the standard banner to 9 legendary heroes. They indicate that the Hydro Fighter from Fontaine will be added to it, although it is not yet known who exactly. It may also include Geo Catgirl or Twilight Archer. In addition, in patch 3.5, the following 4-star characters can be added to banners: Fischl, Collei, Chun Yun and Sucrose.

Concerning Bai Zhu, Baidu and Team China insiders revealed a ton of new information about his abilities, which were obtained as part of the closed beta test of update 3.6:

    • The character's abilities to apply the Dendro status to enemies have been nerfed, which makes it unlikely that he will be able to be used as a sub-DD. Now he is just a support.
    • The patterns generated by his shield have become more varied. There are four types of patterns (tree, snake, and so on).
    • The elemental skill has three functions: hits Dendro with area damage, stuns one enemy (binds him), and heals the team.
    • Elemental Burst is very similar to Beidou ultimate and creates a Noelle: Protector. In terms of strength, it is also comparable to the captain's barrier.

However, insiders immediately warned that these skills could change later, as patch 3.6 is also scheduled to be publicly tested.
