As part of a recent podcast hosted by gaming portal VGC, new information about upcoming Microsoft projects was revealed. Journalists note that the first thing the corporation will release is a space RPG Starfield and adventure game Hellblade 2 and then release Avowed, and only after that will restart Fable.
According to them, the new part of the fantasy role-playing series will have to wait a very long time, as the project has only recently moved to the stage of full development. Georgean Miller, one of the employees of the publication, noted that in Playground Games for a long time they tried to decide on the main concept of the project - it was finalized even last year. Plus, the company had management problems.
Portal sources also note that the developers used as a source of inspiration The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, so in some aspects the new Fable may be similar to the creation of the Poles. Miller suggested that this is due to the fact that modern players would hardly have appreciated the restart if it was made in the style of the very first part, which was released almost 20 years ago.
