A little over a year ago it was reported that Respawn Entertainment besides Star Wars Jedi: Survivor develops two more Star Wars projects: shooter and strategy (created in collaboration with the Bit Reactor team). Recently, the first information about this mysterious FPS was discovered in the vacancies of the studio.
It is noted that this is an AAA-level game, and when creating it, developers are inspired by such legendary shooters as Star Wars: Dark Forces And Star Wars: Jedi Knight-Dark Forces II. In the second part, the main character uses a lightsaber for the first time, so it is possible that in the Respawn creation it will also be possible to wave a βlaser saberβ.
The job posting also states that the game is being created with a focus on storytelling. It is being developed on the basis of the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine. Unfortunately, the studio has not yet revealed even the approximate release dates for this shooter.
