According to some fans, this is all due to the plans of the company. Bethesda Softworks to release a major update for the fourth part in order to better adapt it to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The DSOGaming publication does not exclude that in addition to graphical improvements, the game may receive some kind of DLC for New Vegas.
A less plausible version says that the studio is working on a re-creation of the original Fallout: New Vegas based on the graphics engine of the fourth part. By the way, a similar fan project is currently under development - it is possible that its authors are now working with Microsoft.
An even less likely hypothesis suggests that Bethesda is teasing a full-fledged sequel to New Vegas. However, DSOGaming journalists strongly doubt this, since such a game would have a much larger advertising campaign. Plus, information about her would probably have leaked to the network.
