Dataminer Lumie posted on her Twitter page information about the task of the legends of Qiqi from Genshin Impact. She immediately warned that this was old information that she managed to extract from the game files. Apparently, the developers planned to add this quest back in patches 1.X, but then changed their minds. Next will be SPOILERS to the quest, so you don’t have to read them if you don’t want to spoil your impression of a personal passage.
This task will begin with the mother and child arriving at the Bubu hut The Quest for a Cure. The girl began to see strange ghostly figures. Later, the same symptoms will appear in a woman. The Traveler and Qiqi will travel to the Cloudy Reach to collect the herbs needed to create a healing potion.
During this journey, players would be able to better understand Qiqi personality and her level of memory loss. She will tell you that she has a notebook in which she keeps notes about the current day. Every time she leaves the house, she rereads the notes and follows them without question, as she knows she wrote them down for a good reason. Qiqi will also explain that it is difficult for her to understand the passage of time, since the word "yesterday" does not exist for her.
The insider also dropped link to audio recording with Qiqi voice lines (start at 9:58 minutes). There is a strong possibility that the plot of this quest has been redone in the last two years. So don't be surprised if the information provided here is not confirmed.
