During the Summer Game Fest show, Remedy Entertainment unveiled a new 3-minute gameplay video Alan Wake 2. Although in reality it is only an extended demonstration of the previous video, published a couple of weeks ago.
The developers also revealed some new details about the project. They note that, unlike the first part, it will be a full-fledged horror with elements of survival. It will have two main characters: Alan Wake and FBI agent Saga Anderson (she is shown in the video). Their storylines at first seem unrelated, but at some point they will intertwine with each other.
Anderson will be investigating the bloody murders committed by cultists near the city of Bright Falls, while Wake is still trying to get out of his nightmare. At some points in the story, players will be able to switch between characters or even complete the entire game with just one character.
The studio announced the start of accepting pre-orders for the game. Anyone who completes it will be given a set of materials for the Saga and a unique skin for the revolver used by Alan as a gift. We remind you that the second part should be released on October 17 on Xbox Series X / S, PS5 and PC.
