Insiders from HoyoverseJapan have stated that the next legendary Female Lead will be added to Genshin Impact only in patch 4.2. Until then, all new 5-star heroes will be male.
According to the informants, they do not know the exact reasons for this decision, but they suggested that by doing so the company may be trying to correct the gender balance between the legendary characters.
This information is partially confirmed by insiders Tao (Plusle) and keikakutori, who stated that two 5-star male heroes (Navillet and Risley?) could be released in update 4.1 at once. In update 4.0, the 5-star Pyro Archer Lynn will most likely be released. Recall that Lynette (Anemo, one-handed sword) will be a 4-star heroine.
We add that Mero revealed the element of a mysterious blonde, whose art was shown six months ago. She will use the Geo Eye of God. Her name is rumored to be Yuelin or Navia, and she is somehow connected to Fontaine's navy.
