Whistleblower videreleaks revealed some pretty interesting information regarding the guns in Fontaine. First of all, he showed screenshots (you can see below), which depict a new line of crafting weapons, made in the style of steampunk.
He then revealed the addition of new mechanics to Genshin Impact associated with the appearance of illumination on weapons depending on the selected faction in the Hydro region. Recall that, according to rumors, there will be two groups in the new area: Light and Darkness. From the looks of it, Travelers will be able to join either of them, after which their equipped weapons will glow gold or purple.
At the same time, in the merged pictures with weapons, the “Darkness” faction is called “Wasteland”. Apparently, we are not talking about some kind of villainous organization - in fact, it may consist of people from the lower class, trying to resist the aristocrats who have seized all power in Fontaine.
We add that the same insider showed in the picture all types of NPCs that will meet in the new region. Among them there are both ordinary and special characters. The latter, most likely, will play an important role in the plot.
