Verified whistleblower Tom Henderson reported that the company Ubisoft is currently working on eleven new games in the Assassins Creed franchise at once, including a remake of the fourth licensed part, subtitled Black Flag. The list below provides all available information on these projects.

    • Assassins Creed Mirage (announced) is a full solo stealth action game set to release on October 12, 2023.
    • Assassins Creed Nexus VR (announced) is a stealth action game for virtual reality helmets, due out in 2023.
    • Assassins Creed Codename Jade (announced) is a big-budget game for mobile platforms, coming out this year.
    • Assassins Creed Codename Red (announced) is the next full-on single player game set in Japan. Its release is scheduled for next year.
    • Assassins Creed Codename Hexe (announced) is the next full single player game currently in pre-production. Its release will take place in 2025 or 2026.
    • Assassins Creed Codename Invictus (announced) is a multiplayer project currently in pre-production. Its release will take place in 2025 or 2026.
    • Assassins Creed Codename Nebula is the next full single player game in concept and prototype stages. Will be out soon. It is being developed by the Ubisoft Sofia team, and its actions will unfold in three regions at once: India, the Mediterranean and the Aztec Empire.
    • Assassins Creed Codename Echoes is a multiplayer project at the concept and prototype stage. Will be out soon. It will be based on Ubisoft Scalar cloud technologies. It is being developed by the Ubisoft Annecy team, who previously worked on multiplayer modes in various company games.
    • Assassins Creed Codename Raid is a four-player PvE co-op project currently in concept and prototype stages. It will not be released soon and will be distributed via the F2P system. It is being developed by Ubisoft Chengdu.
    • Assassins Creed Nexus VR 2 is a continuation of the first part, which is under discussion. May be canceled if the original fails.

The eleventh game is just the same updated version Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag. According to an insider, most recently, publishing house executives gave the go-ahead for its development. It is rumored to be produced by several teams, including a studio in Singapore currently working on Skull & Bones. Its release will take place only in a few years.

Recall that the original was released about 10 years ago and is still considered by many to be one of the best in the series. Many liked the sea battles and the pirate theme of the fourth part.
