Insiders began to publish a lot of new materials on Fontaine from Genshin Impact in connection with its official demonstration by the developers. For example, GenshinIR showed a general map of Teyvat with the Hydro region in the northwest, while videreleaks showed a map of Cours de la Fontaine itself (see below).

Of course, this is not the entire Hydro region, but only part of it - the rest of the areas will be added later with the release of new 4.X updates. This is hinted at by a leak from Uncle Liu on the number of hydrocules. There will be a total of 361 Hydro Particles to collect, however only 120 will be available in patch 4.0. In addition, mero showed several viewpoints of the new area, thanks to which you can appreciate its landscapes (you can see it at the very bottom of the news).

Insider group TeamChina has revealed new details about the world boss - two puppets that could be seen on previously leaked art. You can get to them through the elevator in a huge tower. Once in the arena, you will need to choose one of two types of drop before the battle.

Then they will bow to you, everything around will darken, and a bright spotlight will begin to shine on the dolls. If you don't choose who to fight, the puppets will simply ignore you when you get close to them and continue to dance.

An Uncle cuckoo insider revealed that patch 4.0 will change the user interface in the team selection menu - all characters will receive unique animations when joining a squad, for example, Nahida will swing on a swing, Raiden Shogun will pull out a katana while standing with his back to the player, Hu Tao will scare a ghost, and Kaedehara Kazuha to sheathe his sword.

The source added that players will be able to switch between characters while diving. However, their abilities will be locked - all heroes will have the same set of skills while diving. It is impossible to die during normal swimming or diving in Fontaine.
