Development studio Honkai: Star Rail released the official announcement of the upcoming playable character, Jingliu. The heroine has already appeared in the story mission of the second half of update 1.1, and there are quite a few reliable references to her backstory in the game itself.

As already known, Jingliu is the legendary Swordmaster Lofu Xianzhou, who was once part of the Skyward Quintet, and concurrently, the former mentor Jing Yuan. In the past, the white-haired swordswoman enjoyed honor aboard the Alliance flagships, but after that she was influenced by Mara and became a traitor. Now the girl is pursuing her goals: she is on the path leading to a power that can crush even the gods.
Jingliu's release will officially take place in version 1.4 (second half of October).
