Developers from HoYoverse are going to update the system of daily tasks in Genshin Impact, making it more similar to the one presented in Honkai: Star Rail. Innovations will have to appear With You with the release of patch 4.1. The information was leaked by an insider Forward Dodoko!
According to him, players will need to accumulate special experience points instead of completing daily quests, in order to then exchange them for various rewards. Points will be awarded for the following:
- Clearing any punishment dungeon with a weekly boss.
- Collection of a certain amount of materials specified in the task.
- Opening treasure chests while exploring the world.
- Participation in various activities - we are talking primarily about current events.
At the same time, judging by the picture with the rewards (posted above), daily tasks will also remain in the game. The new tasks will become a kind of alternative to the dailies, which are often repeated, because of which they quickly get bored and at the same time waste the players' precious time.
