Insiders leaked new screenshots, videos and details on Starfield

Some bloggers and journalists have been playing for more than two weeks Starfield, so the network is increasingly leaking on the game. Officially, materials from them will begin to appear on August 31, as soon as the embargo on their publication subsides.

For example, a screenshot was posted (see above), which shows the surroundings of the city of Neon, made in a gloomy cyberpunk setting. There was also a video showing the streets of this metropolis. On this entry you can also see the character editor, space battles, moving between planets and exploring dungeons.

An anonymous insider noted that he plays at high graphics settings in 2K resolution (the picture below shows the menu with graphics options). His system with an AMD Ryzen 7 3800X processor and a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card shows mostly 45-60 FPS in open areas and about 60-70 frames in space and dungeons.

Anonymous also decided to answer some questions from the players:

• The game has a division of items according to their rarity - for this, developers use different colors. The rarest items he came across were highlighted in purple.
• It contains dungeons that can be explored, but he cannot tell much about them, since he mainly studied outer spaces.
• He has not yet been able to figure out if ordinary NPCs have any kind of daily routine, but even at night there are a lot of people walking the streets. True, most of them cannot be entered into a dialogue, which is why they look "lifeless".
• In terms of storytelling and plot branching, the game is similar to Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, that is, the level of Baldur's Gate 3 should not be expected from it.
• The gunfights are reminiscent of those in Fallout 4, but made even better in terms of both enemy AI and animations. Close combat, however, turned out to be "mediocre". On a gamepad, he advises playing with the camera in 3rd person.
• In general, Starfield is not a revolution in the genre - it is another game from Bethesda Game Studios, which has greatly improved on many of the positive aspects of its predecessors. For some, this can be a plus, and for others, a minus.

We remind you that the official release of the game is scheduled for September 6 this year. However, owners of the deluxe edition will be able to play it as early as September 1st. This will be available on PC or Xbox Series X/S consoles.
