One of the insiders under the nickname himo_sino said that the release of patch 4.2 for Genshin Impact will once again expand the world of the game: the change will affect the Fontaine region. In order to get to the new area, players will have to jump into a huge hole. After which gamers will find themselves in an unusual body of water, from which large stalagmites rise.
Some users noted that the new location, which will be called “The Origin of a Certain Micro-Universe,” is somewhat similar to the Primordial Sea. The plot is connected with some ancient prophecy. And if earlier leaks are to be believed, patch 4.2 will shed light on this prophecy.
Update 4.2 will appear in Genshin Impact in a month – November 8th.
