Fresh news about the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP shared the game's producer, Yoshimi Yasuda. He announced via Twitter that the developers will not release a remake for Lollipop Chainsaw, but will only release a remaster.
In a tweet, Yasuda indicated the reason for this decision: the authors listened to the opinions of gamers and changed the format of the project. A screenshot was published on this occasion:
Itβs interesting that despite the long-standing announcement that took place last year, the Dragami Games studio has not yet shown a single gameplay video.
It was previously reported that the release of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is scheduled for next summer. Perhaps the real reason for the change in format was that the studio had too little time left to create a full-fledged remake.
