At the international gaming exhibition G-star 2023, which took place in Busan (a major port city in South Korea), the leaders of the post-apocalyptic game NieR promised that the series would continue as long as the legendary developer Yoko Taro lived.
However, fans of the adventures of perfect robots from the future should hardly expect an imminent continuation of NieR, since the development team has plans for a large-scale project in another universe. This was personally announced by the series producer, Esuke Saito.
Japanese studio Cavia is not yet ready to share any details about the upcoming project or even hint at the format of the universe in which the main events of the game will take place.
