Community Genshin Impact has long been guessing about which countries are the prototypes of certain regions of Teyvat. It's no secret that when creating the territories of the 7 Kingdoms, the developers were inspired by existing cultures. And so, before leaving Natlana in version 5.0, insiders shared information about what kind of nations the inhabitants of the Piro region will be like.
Previously, sources made do with a short description of “Latin America” (this guess is confirmed by the images of Murata’s children in the official manga), but the insider hxg made significant adjustments to this vague concept: the population of the region will simultaneously combine African and Spanish cultures, as well as folk motifs of the Aztecs and Mayans. Consequently, in the lands of the kingdom of fire we will meet both dark-skinned and light-skinned characters.
