New Year's version 4.3 in Genshin Impact will be marked not only by the release of new and rerun of old long-awaited heroes, but also by a grandiose reworking of many mechanics. The developers decided to make fundamental changes to the already familiar interface, making it more convenient and automated, following the example Honkai: Star Rail.
The first change concerns expeditions, for which for a long time it was necessary to manually assign characters and collect all resources. In a future patch, players will finally be able to renew their farm with one click, and also collect loot from all groups at once.
Characters Now it will also be possible to upgrade automatically - a button will be added to the game to use all the necessary materials to rise to a given level. In addition, we will be able to see Artifact Set Recommendations, which are most often bet on heroes.
The developers are also updating increasing the level of artifacts : They can be automatically upgraded to one of 4 threshold values at which the item receives a stat buff (up to levels 4, 8, 12 and 16). The number of added materials will increase from 6 to 15, and legendary arts can now be used for leveling up.
Similar improvements will affect weapon upgrades : the number of added consumables will be increased to 40, and guns can now be upgraded immediately to level 5.
The largest processing relates to artifact mechanics. The developers decided to modernize their viewing in luggage by installing filtering according to the following parameters:
- By sets;
- Free or equipped;
- Whether it has a lock or not;
- By artifact level (fully upgraded or not).
Blocking dials it will also be possible to configure through a separate system: a new menu will allow you to select sets and automatically attach a lock to items whose stats correspond to those previously specified by the player (this applies to both upper and lower characteristics - they can also be assigned for each set separately). It is clarified that fine tuning can be done by default (without selecting everything manually), and the search for suitable items in luggage will be simplified by pressing the “Search in Inventory” key.
Update 4.3 is expected to be released already 20th of December of the outgoing year, and With You it all the long-awaited improvements prepared for us by the developers of Genshin Impact.
