Just yesterday, a new character from Liyue , Ka Ming, was officially announced, and today insiders hxg and Full Stop Chan showed his gameplay footage, and also revealed his main abilities and weapons. According to them, in Genshin Impact he will turn out to be a 4-star Pyro hero who uses a two-handed sword in battle.
It is noted that in the team he will play the role of the main damage dealer, playing through attacks in the fall. When performing an elemental skill, he will jump high up and then fall down, performing a special attack that deals Pyro damage that cannot be changed by another infusion. When he falls, he will spend his own health (but not more than 10%).
When an elemental burst is activated, he enters a special state, receiving a Pyro infusion (or simply status), restoring some health to himself and summoning a companion to deal fire damage in an area. After performing the strike, this creature returns to Ka Ming, instantly renewing the cooldown of the E-shki. If you use a skill while the ult is active and the character’s health is equal to or higher than 50%, then a companion will appear on the battlefield again and the process will be repeated.
The character's talents restore their health when performing a powerful attack while falling, and also increase their damage (if health is above 50%) or increase their healing effect (if HP is below 50%). Let's add that insiders posted a gameplay screen of the character, in which he wears a glowing dragon mask. It is unknown if this is part of his stance or fighting ability.
