The release order of Theori, Sijwin, Harlequin and Clorinda and their roles in the party in Genshin Impact

Last night, several insiders (Mero, fullstopchan, Genshin Meow and Uncle A) published information about the release order of new characters in Genshin Impact and their roles in the squad. Please note that many of the heroes listed below are still months away from release, so a lot could change in the meantime.

Let's add that there are two versions of the character appearance sequence in the game: from Mero (which can be seen in the picture above) and Uncle A. Both agree that Tiori (Geo, one-handed sword) will appear in update 4.5. She is a support character similar to Albedo, that is, she is aimed at strengthening Geo. Her ultimate creates a zone in which all allies receive a buff depending on the Geo structures and crystals that arise.

Then there are discrepancies: Mero believes that Sijwin (Hydro, Onion) will be released after Tiori, but before Harlequin, that is, either in the second half of patch 4.5, or in the first phase of version 4.6, but Uncle A indicates that she will appear only in update 4.7. As for her whale, she will turn out to be a secondary damage dealer aimed at enhancing Electro reactions (especially Charged).

Both insiders believe that Harlequin (Pyro, spear) will be released in patch 4.6. It has an interesting dual mechanics aimed at Overload. This is because, like Yoimiya, she is not very effective at inflicting Pyro status on enemies, so Steam is not a good choice for her. For this reason, she pairs differently with Clorinda (possibly with Sidgwin).

Mero then points out that an unknown character should be released, meaning he could appear in both update 4.6 and 4.7. As for Clorinda (Electro, one-handed sword), both informants believe that she will be released in version 4.7. It is noted that it interacts well with Sijwin/Harlequin (that is, it is aimed at the reactions Charged and Elemental Reaction: Overloaded) and, under certain conditions, can restore energy to the entire squad. However, it is not yet clear where it is better to use it - on the front line or in the pocket. Although some consider her a damage dealer.
