Almost a year after the official announcement, developers from FromSoftware finally showed the first gameplay video of the Shadow of the Erdtree story expansion for Elden Ring. It also became known that its release will take place on June 21 of this year.
In the expansion, players will be able to enter a completely new region - the Shadowlands, where they will face an unimaginable new threat to the world. The studio will add many new enemies, including several unique bosses (a couple can already be seen in the trailer).

The cost of the addon will be $40. The publisher is also going to release a collector's edition, which will include the main game, an expansion and a statue of Messmer the All-Good. A Shadow of the Erdtree page has also appeared on Steam, where you can see several screenshots.

The addition, apparently, will receive Russian localization. True, like the original, it will be translated only in text format, so you shouldn’t expect voice acting.
