Following the recent leak about Fontaine's expansion in the south in Genshin Impact Insider UTeuvat decided to show on a map exactly where the new area will appear and how big it will be.
In the screenshot posted above, you can see that the new location will fill approximately half of the empty zone located between Fontaine, Sumeru and Liyue. The land part will be called Petrichor, and the underwater part (here you can also dive under water) will be called Remuria. There will be a large lake on its western side.
As for the second half of the void, it will contain a forest and desert, which cannot be reached in update 4.6. It was previously noted that somewhere here, above or below the ground, is the battlefield of the kingdom of Kaenri'ah. Perhaps access here will open in patches 5.X with the expansion of Sumeru.
