Towards the end of last year, the Kuki Shinobu: Net already rumor leaked that the developers Genshin Impact working on updating endgame content Twisted Abyss. And now, after about half a year, a verified insider fy_leaks returned to discussing this topic on my social media.
The source called the upcoming changes a "new type" of the Abyss and named more specific innovations that many high-level players have been waiting for quite some time:
- There will be only one room on each floor;
- The developers can change the principle of closing a floor, or simply update the design of the halls and/or sectors for new floors when choosing them in the Abyss.
In conclusion, the insider expressed joy at the endgame improvements Genshin Impact, which has been in a state of slight stagnation for quite some time. According to fy_leaks, the new Abyss may become available already in patch 4.7 (~ early June this year).
