There's already enough online rumors have been circulating for a long time about what's in Genshin Impact There will be a new version of the Twisted Abyss, which will be called the Imaginarium Theater and will appear in patch 4.7. Today, its first screenshots and a lot of new details appeared, posted by Mero and Fy Leaks. However, we immediately note that this information may change in the future.
Character Selection
The screenshots below show the preparation room through which you can get to the new Twisted Abyss. It is located in Lisa's library, so the developers, apparently, do not plan to add any new areas with gates. Most likely, this is where players will have to choose their characters. For the first team, you can take trial ones (level 80 with a 4-star weapon of level 80) or your own. These heroes receive a buff that works even in a normal Abyss.
Next, you need to select fighters for an alternative squad. You can borrow one of them from your friends (you can view the level, weapons, constellation and artifacts of the characters). The rest should be yours. Once you've made your choice, you can begin taking the Achievement: Challenger.
Events
This Abyss will have a separate “currency” that is needed to interact with various events. Some of them are free, others will give you extra “coins”, and others will take them away. There will be 4 events to choose from, and if you wish, you can update the list if you don’t like any of the events.
There will be 7 types of events in total: combat scene (fight with enemies), Zone Defense (you need to protect the monolith), cinematic battle (fight with the boss), random companion (allows you to choose a random character from an alternative composition to the current team), specific companion (easier to find the one you want hero), miraculous help (gives buffs) and secret acquisitions (gives buffs).
Battles
For the battle you need to select 4 characters from the active roster. Each battle consumes 1 energy from a fighter. Having spent 2 energy, the Achievement: Hero can no longer be selected for battle. If you fulfill additional conditions in events, you will receive more currency.
Before the battle, you can familiarize yourself with the composition of the enemy. The opponents in these battles are stronger than their level would indicate. After each battle, Act increases by one. In total you need to go through 8 battles, 3 of which will be with bosses. In between acts, you will be able to change the weapons and artifacts of your heroes.
