Studio HoYoverse continues to work on the development of its projects. So, just recently they announced that on June 17, 2024 there will be a complete transition to a new bootloader, previously available only to some users. Starting from the specified date, launch Genshin Impact And Honkai: Star Rail will take place exclusively through HoYoPlay, and will soon be added to Honkai Impact 3rd With Zenless Zone Zero, the release of the latter, by the way, should take place on July 4, 2024.
To update the bootloader, just open one of the HoYoverse games. The system itself will offer to update the launcher, after which a HoYoPlay shortcut will appear on the desktop, through which all the studio’s projects will be accessed.
It is expected that this loader will simplify switching between different HoYoverse games, and also encourage users to get acquainted with new projects.
There have also been some changes in Genshin Impact. In a survey recently sent to players, a new question for the project, but typical for most sociological questionnaires, appeared: a question about user income. The amounts in it vary from 10 to 250 thousand rubles. If desired, the player may refuse to provide this information.
Whether the appearance of this question is a sign that Genshin Impact will increase the cost and amount of paid content, or whether the developers are simply trying to increase awareness of the features of their target audience is still unknown. But it is worth noting that HoYoverse shows unusual stability in this regard, because for almost 4 years of the project’s existence, prices in the in-game store have never increased.
