At first, the studio told and showed several faction-agencies that operate in caverns - dangerous zones where you can encounter monsters. They are located around New Eridu, which is the last safe city on the planet. Almost all playable characters, with the exception of the main characters, will belong to a certain group or city service.
Many people voluntarily go into caverns because of the ether, which can transform people and robots into monsters. Moreover, this material is a very valuable source of energy, on the basis of which almost all New Eridu technologies operate. The main characters are proxies - they are specialists involved in extracting resources and saving people from the Kaven.
As for banners, in the first half of the patch it will be possible to get maid Ellen Jo (Ice, Assault) with an increased probability, and in the second half - investigator Zhu Yuan (Ethereal, Assault).
In terms of the combat system, Zenless Zone Zero is reminiscent of Genshin Impact, however, the developers note that those players who have never played projects of this genre will be able to get used to it without any problems. Veterans will be able to delve deeper into its mechanics.
Banboos, robots with artificial intelligence that look like bunnies, will also take part in the battles. They have unique skills and combo attacks. To get a new banbu, you will need to spend banbulets, issued, for example, for completing events.
In addition, 100 banner spins and 80 banbullets will be given to all users in honor of the game’s release. The developers also demonstrated one promotional code: ZZZFREE10. It will be possible to use it only from July 4 to July 11, 2024. It is planned to give out rewards for pre-registrations: banbulets, 4-star heroine Korin (Physical, Attack), denny and master copies.
HoYoverse noted that the world of the release version will be approximately twice as large as the test version. While exploring it, you can stumble upon Banbu and help them find mini-trucks. Below you can see several new screenshots of the project.
