Developers Star Wars Outlaws published a new video dedicated to crime syndicates and their bases, which will play a key role in the game. The main character Kay Vess completes tasks for various syndicates, increasing her reputation and opening access to new missions.
Interacting with each syndicate will offer unique tasks and opportunities, however, completing missions for one syndicate may worsen relations with others. Among the syndicates represented:
- Hutt Cartel: This syndicate is based on Tatooine and is involved in smuggling and illegal trade. The cartel's influence extends to many planets.
- Pyke Syndicate: Known for their brutality and control over many illegal operations. Their base is located in little-known corners of the galaxy. The heroine will mainly have to negotiate with Gorak, one of the junior bosses, who is located on the moon of Toshara.
- Crimson Dawn: A secret syndicate that operates criminal activities from the shadows. Their base is carefully hidden from prying eyes.
- Ashiga Clan: Specializes in various criminal schemes and has well-fortified bases. It is inspired by samurai. Its headquarters are located on the ice planet Kijimi.
- Zerek Besh: The main antagonist of the game, representing a powerful and influential criminal group. Their base is one of the most protected in the game. Raising the reputation of this syndicate will not work.
The game will be released on PC and current generation consoles on August 30, 2024.
