    Using agents in the open world, improved controls and other innovations in patches 1.X for ZZZ

    Yesterday, representatives of HoYoverse decided to tell what innovations await players in Zenless Zone Zero in the nearest patches. Mainly we are talking about versions 1.1-1.2. All improvements are based on advice and requests received from users. They will make New Eris even more lively and detailed.

    What's new in patch 1.1:

    • In story missions, players will be able to explore locations and fight for the first time, controlling the main character of the storyline.
    • Before a battle begins, a manual chain trigger option will be added to the team formation menu. This will prevent the chain from automatically triggering when attacking a stunned enemy. An option to cancel the chain interruption will be added, allowing players to choose whether to use manual triggering.
    • A series of new, more challenging combat missions and game activities are expected, which will be updated regularly.
    • In Shiyu Defense mode, enemy attribute resistances will be displayed better, making it easier to select suitable agents for testing.
    • Once players receive a new agent, they will be able to set their image as their avatar on the Internet.
    • It will be possible to customize the buttons of the combat interface, making control on mobile devices more convenient.

    What's new in patch 1.2:

    • For completed but unrewarded story and research orders, the "Fairy's Help" function will become available. If certain conditions are met, the Fairy will automatically collect all uncollected rewards after a certain period of time.
    • In accelerated mode, the exploration of monitors will not be interrupted by other events. The animation of some events will also be sped up to ensure smoother gameplay.
    • The option to form a default team with the ability to select a banbu to carry out combat orders will be added. Squad management in the "Shiyu Defense" mode will be improved.
    • The location of the entrance to the training mode will change, stages for re-passing the battle will be added, which will simplify access to training and agent control.
    • Once players reach a certain level of Internet, they will be able to change the time in the game, which will make the gameplay more flexible and convenient.
    • Based on player feedback, the background brightness level in some missions will be adjusted.

    Improvements in future versions:

    • In the current version, players can only control Wise or Belle. In future versions, changes and plans to expand the control of other agents will be announced during special streams.
    • Some agent models will be modified to improve their visual perception.
    • Work will continue to improve the interactive aspects of the game and the combat interface.

    Of course, the developers also plan to continue adding new story quests, agents, locations, and other content that will expand Zenless Zone Zero.
