A Sakura Heaven insider has published information about the new pet system that will appear in update 2.5 for Honkai: Star Rail. He even published a video showing an unusual creature.

You can get this pet after the “Luminous War Dance” event, which will be the main event of the patch and a kind of tournament where March 7th will take part. The insider added that the new mechanics may be related to some kind of game mode with combat tests.
It is noted that the pet will have 2 waiting states. Plus, he will constantly follow the active character in the open world, like Dittin in story quests. Let us remind you that patch 2.5 should be released in September of this year.
