Another monthly report on the revenue of mobile projects on Google Play and the App Store from the analytical service Sensor Tower has appeared online. In July 2024, the highest-grossing game was Zenless Zone Zero, released last month by China-based HoYoverse.

According to the collected data, ZZZ was able to earn its creators $96 million in the first month of its existence. Despite such significant figures, they still turned out to be somewhat lower than the starting values of past miHoYo projects: for example, Genshin Impact in 11 days from the moment of release he was able to earn $90 million, and Honkai: Star Rail – and altogether 108 million.

It should be noted, however, that with the release of Zenless Zone Zero, the income of other HoYoverse creations dropped noticeably. If in June "Genshin" earned 67.5 million dollars, then in July - only 36.3 million, and "Honkai" completely fell to 35.5 million from 95.5 million. Most likely, this is due to the fact that many players moved to a new project, abandoning previous games for a while.

Let's add that a dating simulator for girls unexpectedly came in second place LOVE and Deepspace, which earned $30.8 million in June and increased that figure to $42.2 million the following month. Concerning Wuthering Waves, which some called the Genshin killer, its revenue dropped to $29.5 million.
