With a high probability, the developers will expand Fontaine. A map with additional locations has already appeared on the network - basically, the Hydro region will be overgrown with territories in the east. A red star marks a new port, similar to Port Romaritime Flower. Most likely, it is in this area that the prison will be located, perhaps it is under water.
New weapon
The studio is about to add a new line of 4-star weapons from Fontaine. Some of its copies could already be seen in past leaks - their characteristic feature is a light bulb that lights up in different colors depending on which pneumonia energy the character has. Their characteristics can be found in the pictures below (they may change closer to the release of the patch).
The method of obtaining them is still unknown. It is possible that we are talking about new crafting weapons, the recipes of which can only be obtained by completing certain side quests or activities.
Two new legendary catalysts will also be added:
- Treasury Oversight (Basic Attack: 48~674; Critical Hit Chance: 4.8~22.1%) - Increases attack power by 12-24%. When the hero's current health increases or decreases, the damage from normal hits increases by 14-28%, and from charged hits - by 12-24%. The bonus can stack up to three times, and only appear once every 0.3 seconds. In case of getting 3 stacks, the attack speed increases by 8-16%. Risley's signature.
- Rite of the Eternal Flow (Basic Attack: 44~542; Critical Damage: 19.2~88.2%) - Increases health by 16-32%. When the hero's current health increases or decreases, damage from charged hits increases by 12-28% for 4 seconds. The bonus can stack up to three times, and only appear once every 0.3 seconds. New tasks
Archon Quests
It is planned to continue the Fontaine story arc, and, judging by the leaked files, two new chapters will be added at once. To start them, you will need the 40th Adventure Rank. Legend Quests
The first chapter of Nevillet's personal history will be released. It will consist of four missions. To start it, you also need the 40th Adventure Rank. Plus, the developers will release the Risley Legends quest, which includes three quests. At this point in time, their plot is unknown.
World Quests
It is noted that players will be waiting for new large-scale quest chains. New Enemies
Fatui
Two new elite enemies of Fatui will appear: Wind Operative and Frost Operative. They deal Anemo and Cryo damage respectively, and also have 50% resistance to those elements. Plus, they can use the Hound skill, which applies a Life Debt to the hero, which constantly deals damage to him.
Experimental field generator
Maybe it's a new boss. It is a huge device created by Edwin Eastinghouse and capable of flight. His resistance to Geo is 70%, so it is not recommended to use characters of this element against him.
