In Genshin Impact a reputation system was introduced for individual regions. By increasing it, you can get a lot of very useful rewards. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock this gameplay mechanic, as well as find out your current reputation and increase it.

How to open the reputation system

To do this, you first need to reach the 25th adventure rank. After that, you have to complete certain story missions:

Prologue, Chapter 1 "The Outlander Who Caught the Wind" (for opening reputation in the city of Mondstadt).
Volume I, Chapter 2 "Farewell, Ancient Lord" (to open reputation in Liyue Harbor City).

How to check reputation in Mondstadt

This can be done by interacting with a specific character. You will need the coordinator Knights of Favonius, located north of the large fountain. It's about a girl-knight named Hertha. She stands at the foot of the stone steps. She's hard to miss as there will be a large blue exclamation mark hanging right above her head. The screenshots below show the exact location.

Note: If Gert suddenly disappeared, then most likely you are going through some kind of quests in which she should be in other places. Therefore, if you cannot find it, then we advise you to advance on the tasks of the Archons or go through active quests of legends and the world.

Then just talk to Gerta and select the phrase " What is my Mondstadt Reputation" in the dialogue menu. After that, a window will open, in the lower left corner of which your reputation level and the number of points required to move to the next level will be indicated.

How to check reputation in Liyue

The desired character is located in the southeast of the city, north of the compass and anvil icons. You will need a Citizens Affairs Secretary Xiao Yu is a young lady in a white and blue dress, standing next to the bulletin board, near the large wooden gate. How to increase reputation

To increase your reputation in a particular city, you will need to perform certain actions, namely:

Complete local missions. Apparently, it is about world quests tied to specific regions.
Explore the world, that is, open chests, activate new fast travel points, collect oculuses and perform other similar actions.
Take orders for monsters. As part of them, you will need to hunt down and kill dangerous monsters. New contracts appear once a week, on Monday. No more than 3 orders can be completed in 7 days.
Fulfill the requests of residents. New assignments appear once a week, on Monday. In 7 days, you can complete no more than 3 requests.

Increasing your reputation rewards you with new Gliders, Echo Stones, Windcatcher's Bottle, Thick Resin, and many other useful blueprints.

Reputation in Inazuma
