In Genshin Impact Peak of Vindagnyr is a new dungeon added to the game With You Update 1.2. It is located in the Dragonspine region. For its passage, powerful artifacts "Blizzard Strayer" and "Heart of Depth" are issued, intended for Cryo and Hydro characters. In this guide, we will tell you how to open this dungeon and complete it.
How to find and open the Peak of Vindagnyr Dungeon
The entrance to this area can be found at Skyfrost Nail, located at the top of the Dragonspine Mountains. The map below shows the exact location of the dungeon.
However, before you go there, complete the "In the Mountains" world quest, which allows you to open the required door. We talked about his passage in separate guide. In short, you will need to find and melt 3 frozen fragments by collecting Scarlet Quartz, and then get to the top of the mountain.
Reward for completing Vandagnir Peak
Upon unlocking this dungeon, you will immediately receive 5 Source Stones and 50 Adventure Points. You will then be able to select the challenge you want, each with a different reward, as follows:
- Domain of Blessing: Elegiac Rime I (recommended party level - 59) - 100 adventure points, 1850 Mora, 15 friendship points, set Defender’s Will (3-4 stars), set Gambler (3-4 stars), set Blizzard Strayer (4 stars) and the Heart of Depth set (4 stars).
- Domain of Blessing: Elegiac Rime II (recommended party level - 69) - 100 adventure points, 2025 Mora, 20 friendship points, set Defender’s Will (3-4 stars), set Gambler (3-4 stars), set Blizzard Strayer (4 stars) and the Heart of Depth set (4 stars).
- Domain of Blessing: Elegiac Rime III (recommended party level - 80) - 100 adventure points, 2200 Mora, 20 friendship points, set Defender’s Will (3-4 stars), set Gambler (3-4 stars), set Blizzard Strayer (4 -5 stars) and the Heart of Depth set (4-5 stars).
- Domain of Blessing: Elegiac Rime IV (recommended party level - 90) - 100 adventure points, 2525 Mora, 20 friendship points, set Defender’s Will (3-4 stars), set Gambler (3-4 stars), set Blizzard Strayer (4 stars) and the Heart of Depth set (4 stars).
Featured Characters
Since most of your enemies in this dungeon are of the Cryo class, we highly recommend having Pyro heroes on your team. Electro and Geo characters will also be able to show themselves well in this area, however, they will still not be able to deal as much damage to opponents, so we advise you to take them as a support or secondary DPS.
"Paid" team
This unit will be able to easily "melt" enemies with their Pyro skills and further increase their damage by inflicting "superconductive damage" on them. Jean or Qiqi will allow you to heal your group without any problems. It is not recommended to take Barbara, as she can easily be frozen.
Free team
Traveler (Anemo) will be able to increase the damage dealt by Xiangling Pyro. Then quickly switch to Lisa to inflict "superconductive damage" on enemies. As a result, even the normal attacks of your main damage dealer will cause huge damage to opponents.
How to pass Peak of Vindagnyr
Use cold and warm areas
This dungeon is unique in that its arena has warm and cold areas. If you step on the latter, then your cold scale will quickly fill up. The only way to lower the counter is to step on the warm platforms.
Use Pyro skills on mitachurls with shields
Since this dungeon has a timer, you need to fight enemies as efficiently as possible. Therefore, as soon as a mitachurl with a shield appears, immediately switch to your Pyro hero to destroy his defense and make the monster vulnerable.
There are no hidden chests in this dungeon
The structure of this dungeon is quite simple. Once inside it, start the fight and fight the enemies. Nothing more needs to be done here. So you will not find any secrets or hidden chests here.
