In Genshin Impact tattered notes are collectibles, collecting which allows you to open access to the chest, which contains Crimson Agate and other valuable things. They are hidden in the Dragonspine region. In this guide, we will point out their location and show you how to solve the water draining puzzle to get to one of the scrolls.
Location of all torn notes
If you want to find the treasure chest, then you will need to find the torn notes in the exact order that is indicated on the map above. Don't forget to use elemental vision when looking for the second and third scrolls.
First torn A Note
It can be found in the south of the Surroundings of the Buried Capital location. To get to it, you must first solve a small water puzzle.
How to drain water
To do this, you will need to hit 4 totems with the character's Cryo in a certain sequence (shown in the screenshots below), and then interact with the unlocked cube. Note that 2 totems are located on hills.
How to melt the ice and open the cage
First activate the switch inside the ditch and then collect Scarlet Quartz. Next hit the rock. After that, activate the switch at the top of the ditch to open the cage with the diary.
Second torn A Note
After finding the previous scroll, start following the path out of the water by activating elemental vision. Eventually, you will reach a new entry.
Third tattered A Note
Travel along the sea coast from the easternmost point of the Dragonspine teleportation. Get to the location indicated on the map below. After reading the third note, select the "Explore" option - as a result, a luxurious chest will appear.
Inside the chest you will find Crimson Agate, Hero’s Wit, Guide to Resistance, 10 Source Stones, 1800 Mora, and a 3-star Artifact. In addition, you can unlock the achievement "Prodigal Son’s Return".
