In Genshin Impact Crimson Agates are a new collectible item required to level up the Permafrost Tree. You need to do this to get various rewards, such as Fateful Encounters, Intertwining Fates, Talent Boost Materials, Mora, or Tool Blueprints.
Crimson Agates are red crystals scattered across a new region called Dragonspine. If you're having trouble finding them, check out our guide.
Location of all crimson agates
In total, you can find 80 crimson agates. On the map above you can see the approximate location of each crystal. Just head to the indicated point and look for the desired item. Below we will indicate the exact location of all these resources. The number on the map corresponds to the number in the description.

Crimson Agate 1
Use your glider to jump down from a high point.
Crimson Agate 2
Climb the mountain to get the Elemental Reaction: Crystallize.
Crimson Agate 3
Take the Crimson Crystal and destroy the ice.

Use your glider to jump down from a high point.

Climb to the top of the mountain.

After unlocking the Permafrost Tree, move to the right to find a Elemental Reaction: Crystallize.

Activate the trampoline with Anemo's attack and use the wind to get to the item.
Crimson Agate 10
Pillar in the sky above the top of the mountain. After passing Quest "In the Mountains" activate the trampoline at the top using an Anemo-powered attack.

Defeat the nearby enemies and activate the mechanism to go down. Open the chest to take the Elemental Reaction: Crystallize.
Crimson Agate 12
Located on the side path on the way to the top of the mountain. Take on the quest "In the Mountains" to get an agate.

Defeat the enemies and take the item.

Climb up the "bone" structure to collect the Elemental Reaction: Crystallize.

Glide from high ground to get to the item.

Can be obtained by jumping into a hole in a bone-like structure.

Collect three wind spirits and use the elevator to get the item.

Open the chest, which will be unlocked after defeating the enemies.

Follow the sequence shown in the picture and solve the puzzle.

You can destroy the ice on the isolated island by using the archer and standing on the nearby reef where Scarlet Quartz spawns. You can get closer by freezing the water.
There is another way to get to this agate (thanks to user MrProRock for information). First go to the cliff shown in the screenshots. Then break the Scarlet Quartz and go down to the island.

Other methods of extracting crimson agates
So, exactly 80 red crystals can be found in the world, however, in order to exalt the Permafrost Tree and receive the desired rewards, you may need much more agates. Fortunately, there is another way to get them. To do this, you will need to increase the level of the tree to the 8th level.
After that, a new challenge called "Crimson Desire" will appear. You can do it 5 times on Mondays and Fridays. This way you will be able to get additional crimson agates.
