In Genshin Impact Rinzō's Treasure is a secret mini-quest in which you will need to find mysterious demonic black marks on Watatsumi, indicating the location of buried treasures. After finding them all, you will receive a valuable reward and unlock two achievements at once. In this guide, we will tell you how to start this task, and where all the black drawings are located.
Find the Treasure Thieves' Note
First of all, you will need to find the Treasure Thieves' note hidden in one of the caves on Watatsumi Island. The entrance to it is located southwest of the village of Boro. The screenshots below show the location of the document.
As a result, you will learn that the famous pirate named Rinzo painted the black marks on the walls. Thus, he marked the places where his treasures were buried. Next, you will need to examine them all, thereby ahead of the bandits.
Where to find all black marks (drawings)
There are a total of 8 Demonic Marks to be found, and they are all located on Watatsumi Island. The map above shows the location of all the drawings. Below we describe their searches in more detail. Note that in some places you will find ordinary chests, while in others only shovels and empty pits (which means that treasure thieves have already been here).
First black mark
It is located next to the cave with the note. Get out of it and go along the coast to the west side, skirting the cliff. Reach the waterfalls with Electro totems and jump down. Stand near the picture and select the "Dig" option.
Second black mark
You will find it at the bottom of the western "shell" of Sangonomiya Shrine Temple. Jump down from the point where you found the previous drawing and fly north. Soon you will notice a black sign on the wall below. Approach it and unearth the treasure.
Third black mark
Move to the local statue of the seven Archons and move north. Jump off the cliff and glide down along the waterfalls. Ahead you will see a large tree trunk, above which you will see a drawing. Land and carefully climb down, and then dig for the treasure.
Fourth black mark
She can be found in the northern part of Watatsumi. Move to the fast travel point, turn around and drop down again. Land on the nearest ledge. Approach the mark and start digging.
Fifth black mark
Jump down again and glide to the very foot of the mountain. You will see a drawing here, but someone has already unearthed the treasure. Wait for Paimon comment and then move on.
Sixth black mark
Teleport to a fast travel point near Boro Village. Jump down and not far from the small suspension bridge you will notice a new drawing. However, the treasure has already been unearthed by someone before you.
Seventh black mark
Pass through the village of Boro, glide a little further and descend to the lower part of the island. Ahead you will notice a drawing, but there will be no treasure here either.
Eighth black mark
Turn around and run north (in some places you will have to swim). After a couple of minutes, you will see a demonic drawing. Treasures will not be here either. But you will open the secret achievement "Long John Silver".
Rinzō Letter and Rinzou’s Signet
However, the task does not end there. To the northeast of the 8th mark is the camp of treasure thieves. Head there and deal with all the opponents. Then open the unlocked chest, in which you will find a Rinzou’s Letter, where he will tell you where he hid his riches.
Now return to the cave where you found the note of the treasure thieves at the very beginning. Go to the crates and select the "Dig" option to get a precious chest. Open it for valuable items and A Distant Sea Shepherd’s Treasure achievement.
You will also find a unique item called Rinzou’s Signet. It is possible that you will need it to perform some other task.
