In Genshin Impact The Chamber of Secrets is a secret location in Encanomia, where new puzzles are waiting for you, for solving which you can get various treasures. In this guide, we will tell you where to find the Secret Room Key and the room itself, as well as tell you how to solve all the riddles in it.
First of all, you should complete the world quest "The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent" to learn about the main mechanics of the underwater region and unlock devices to change Eternal and White Night.
How to find the Secret Room Key
It can be found during the mission "Lotus Eater". However, apparently, you do not have to take on this quest to get the key. Therefore, you can immediately teleport to Gorge and go to the area shown in the screenshots below. You will need to glide down into the crevice.
Here you will find 3 triangular mechanisms and the same number of pendant lamps. You will need to hit the devices with melee attacks to set up the lights. When you see the inscription “Looks like the right place…”
, stop hitting the mechanism.
The picture above shows how many times you need to hit each of the devices. The order doesn't seem to matter, but we still advise you to start on the far left and end on the far right. If you did everything right, then a passage will open ahead. Enter the ruins.
Then switch back to Eternal Night (if you are on the quest). Drop down into the hole in the floor and up the stone stairs. Next, if necessary, talk to the ghost in the hideout. During the conversation, you must select the second phrase: "After sunset comes darkness..."
. Next, be sure to inspect the chest nearby, as it is in it that Secret Room Key. It should appear in your inventory under the Quest section. Now you can start looking for this secret location.
Where to find the secret room in Enkanomiya
Teleport to the southwest fast travel point in Gorge and run west to the cliff. Jump down and glide onto the area with the monsters. Deal with all the enemies and go to the stone door. Open it using the previously obtained key (see screenshots below).
How to Remove Barriers and Raise Bars in the Chamber of Secrets
Go to the ruins. Move along the corridor to the very end. You will be in a dead end. However, red barrels can be seen next to the wall. Shoot them from afar to blow them up and open a passage. Keep going deeper into the dungeon.
You will see blue barriers on both sides that are only active during Eternal Night. Therefore, climb over the railing on the right side and activate the White Night using a special device.
Blue barriers will disappear, but yellow ones will appear. Go to the second device and change the time back to Eternal Night. Then interact with the blue cube to open the grate shown in the screenshot below.
Switch to White Night again to remove the blue barriers, and at the second device, switch to Eternal Night. Now move to the place of worship and take the blue aura. Activate the White Night again and move to the triangular mechanism that was behind the barrier.
Thanks to the power of the night (aura), you can activate the mechanism even during the White Night. Now hit it once to open the grate in front.
Solving the puzzle with symbols and seals
Go inside and turn left. On the wall you will notice a phantasm. To see what's behind it, you'll need to switch back to Eternal Night. Go back and use the device on the right so as not to be behind the force field.
Return to the wall with the phantasm, in place of which there will be symbols that need to be activated. You have already encountered similar signs as part of the quest "The Heart of Ouroboros". The arrows next to the symbols show in what sequence you will need to interact with the seals on the barriers.
Before moving to The Serpent’s Heart to the stone structure with barriers, go forward along the corridor to find a precious chest and a grate that can be opened with a lever.
So, now teleport to the stone structure and go through the Hurdle to be in the center of the circle. Next, begin to pass through the force fields with seals in the same order that was shown on the symbols. The picture above shows the desired sequence.
If you solve the puzzle correctly, you will see a cut-scene, and then you will have to fight three guardians of the ruins. Deal with them to gain access to a luxury chest at the end. This completes the mystery with the secret room.
