    Contents

In Genshin Impact Daehya is 5 star character, who possesses Pyro's eye of a god and masterfully wields a two-handed sword. In a squad, she can play the role of a support or a sub-DD, and in some cases even become the main damage dealer. In this guide, we will tell you about her best builds, weapons, artifacts and teams.

Note: The Twilight Mercenary is not yet officially released, so the data presented here is based on information received as part of the beta testing. If necessary, we will update the guide when the heroine appears in the game. In addition, in Update 3.5, his banner will be launched with an increased drop rate.

    Key features of Daehya

    How to get Daehyu

In the first phase of update 3.5, this swordsman will appear in the banner, which will increase the chance of her dropping. Thus, it will be possible to get this character only with the help of Prayers. Unfortunately, miHoYo has never hosted an event where a 5-star fighter would be a reward, so you definitely won’t be able to get this Lioness for free.

    Dehya's characteristic progression

The table below shows how a character's base stats change as they level up.

Level Base HP Basic Attack Basic protection Bonus HP% Crit chance. hits Crete. damage

    Advantages and disadvantages of Daehya

Thanks to her unique abilities, the mercenary can become a good bodyguard for the main-DD, deflecting damage from him, or become an applicator, helping to create reactions. Its advantages also include:

    • Quite an unusual gameplay based on completely new mechanics, which will surely please those who like to experiment or veterans who are tired of the monotonous actions in battle.
    • Can increase the interrupt resistance of the main damage dealer, allowing him to reach his full potential on the battlefield.
    • Able to replace both the healer and the shielder, diverting damage from other characters, and then recovering with the help of automatic regeneration. Even Zhongli can compete, since, unlike him, it also protects against Decomposition.
    • Elemental Skill and Elemental Explosion damage is partially scaled by the size of her Max HP, which not only increases as the heroine ascends, but also boasts relatively high values even in the base.
    • With the help of his skill, he can inflict Pyro status on enemies, assisting in the creation of reactions such as Melt, Steam, Elemental Reaction: Burning, Elemental Reaction: Overloaded or Bloom.
    • Increases party movement speed during daylight hours. With You with Rosaria in the team, the squad will move faster around the clock.

However, it was not without disadvantages, which include:

    • Has very low base attack values for a 5-star character, which makes her extremely difficult to use as a main damage dealer.
    • With insufficiently high HP, Dehya should still have a good healer in the team.
    • To use the Lioness as a sub-DD, you will need to simultaneously increase not only her HP, but also her Attack, which will significantly complicate the construction of her build.
    • Due to the low damage of the elemental skill and too long intervals between the joint attacks of the Fiery Prison, she demonstrates herself much worse as an applicator or reactor when compared to the same Xiangling.
    • It shows itself poorly without signature weapons and the opening of at least the initial constellations, therefore it is not suitable for free-to-play.
    • Turning Dahya into the main damage dealer may require Bennett with the 6th constellation.
    • Comparatively expensive ult (70 units) with a long cooldown (18 seconds) and a short duration (4 seconds).
    • Unusual gameplay can scare off newbies and conservative players.

    Daehya's abilities

When performing a normal attack "Sandstorm Attacks" the mercenary makes up to 4 hits, using a two-handed weapon and the techniques of her own martial art, and a charged attack - combo moves that spend a certain amount of stamina and culminate in an additional powerful blow with a claymore. During a falling attack, she lands on the ground, dealing area damage.

Explanation: Dehya has extremely low normal attack multipliers among two-handed heroes, which makes her a lot harder to use as a main damage dealer. The situation can be partially corrected by Bennett (C6), however, in other cases, we do not recommend using simple blows of the Lioness.

In case of using an elemental skill "Molten Hell" the heroine performs a variety of martial arts techniques:

    • Unrelenting Flame - Used when the Flame Prison she created is not on the battlefield. Deals area damage to Pyro and causes a prison to spawn.
    • Orb of Flame - Used when there is a Flame Prison she created on the battlefield. She jumps, dealing area damage to Pyro and creating a new prison in another location that inherits the duration of the previous prison. Orb of Flame can only be used once per Fiery Dungeon.

As for the principle of the fiery prison, it consists in inflicting joint attacks with the active character, inflicting Pyro damage in an area, depending on the maximum health and ATK of the mercenary. Attacks occur once every 2.5 seconds. There can only be one fiery dungeon on the battlefield.

At the same time, in the radius of action of the prison, the resistance to interruption of active heroes increases significantly, and part of the damage they receive is transferred to Dehya and stretches for 10 seconds. If the accumulated damage exceeds 200% of the Lioness's maximum HP, the damage removal will stop.

Explanation: The damage of the E-shka is low and only deals once every 2.5 seconds, so it is not good for creating reactions. On the other hand, an active Achievement: Hero may not be afraid of interrupting his attacks, which is extremely useful for some damage dealers. The main plus of the skill lies in the removal of damage, which turns Dehyu into an excellent support even in the absence of constellations. For example, if a character on the battlefield is hit for 5,000 damage, then he will receive only 2,500, and the remaining half will go to the mercenary, and it will be stretched for 10 seconds (250 units for 1 second), so you will always have time to treat her with dishes or a healer.

When activating an elemental explosion "Fangs of a Lioness" Dehya starts punching enemies in automatic mode, dealing Pyro damage based on Lioness's maximum health and attack power. At the end, she performs a Burning Strike that hits an area. If there is a Flame Prison on the battlefield, then it is removed for a while and reappears after the end of the ult.

In this mode, the heroine's resistance to interruption is increased, but she cannot perform an elemental skill and normal attacks - all of them are replaced by Roaring Flurry, which increases the speed of punches if used in time.

Explanation: In 4 seconds in automatic mode, the mercenary makes 6 hits. If you manage to press "E" within 0.4 seconds after performing a punch, then her attack speed will begin to increase. As a result, in 4 seconds, she can deliver up to 10 hits, and then perform a powerful attack. If you pump the heroine enough, then you can make a good ultra-procaster out of her. Otherwise, you will rarely use her Elemental Burst.

It is also impossible not to mention Daehya's passive talents, namely:

    • Solar Path - Increases the movement speed of team members by 10% during daylight hours (from 6 am to 6 pm). The bonus does not work in dungeons and twisted abyss. Does not stack with similar effects.
    • Immeasurable Support – Whenever a Flame Prison is recalled by an Ult or Orb of Flame, the Mercenary's damage taken is reduced by 60% for 6 seconds if she deflects damage. The effect occurs once every two seconds. Plus, if you use the Unrelenting Flame move, all party members enter the Golden Form state, which greatly increases their resistance to interruption within the radius of the prison for nine seconds. This status can occur once every eighteen seconds.
    • Unshakable Sincerity - After reducing the mercenary's health to 40% or below, she instantly regenerates 20% of her maximum HP, and then another 6% every couple of seconds for ten seconds. This effect occurs once every twenty seconds.

    Constellations Daehya

To open them, you need Character Serendipity, which can be obtained by dropping hero duplicates. Given the low chance of getting 5-star fighters, then you will need a lot of money and time to unlock all the constellations. Unfortunately, without constellations, Dehyu can only be used optimally as a support.

If you want to make her a sub-DD, then you will need at least C1, which slightly increases the damage of her abilities. C4 and C6 can turn Daehyu into a great ultra-procaster in the position of main-DD. Each constellation is detailed below:

    1. Blinding Flames - Increases the heroine's maximum health by 20%, and also increases the damage of the elemental skill by 3.6% of HP, and the elemental explosion by 6%.
    2. Brilliant Blades of the Sands - Increases the duration of your next Prison of Fire by 4 seconds after Orb of Flame is cast. If there is already a Fiery Dungeon on the battlefield, and the active Achievement: Hero within its area of effect is damaged, then the next joint strike is 50% more powerful.
    3. Fiery Fierce Strike - Elemental explosion level increases by 3. Maximum level: 15th.
    4. Unbreakable Oath - All hits of the mercenary during the duration of the ult restore 1.5 points of energy and 2.5% of her maximum health. The effect occurs every 0.2 seconds.
    5. Primal Lioness - Elemental skill level increased by 3. Maximum level: 15th.
    6. Rending Fire Claws - Increases the chance of dealing critical damage with fists in ultimate mode by 10%. After landing a critical hit, critical damage from fists is increased by 15% and the duration of the elemental explosion by 0.5 seconds. The bonus appears every 0.2 seconds. The maximum you can extend the effect of the ult by 2 seconds, and the crit. increase damage - by 60%.

    How to play Daehyu

As we noted above, in the absence of constellations, it is best to use Dehya as a support, and she will play the role of an unusual shield, absorbing some of the damage received by the active character. With a maximum health of 40+ thousand, she can withstand a lot of hits, and then quickly recover thanks to automatic regeneration.

In addition, unlike shielders, she is able to effectively protect even from the Hounds of the Rupture (impose Decay) and other enemies that are better not to fight with active shields (we are talking about various black serpent knights). In the cooperative mode, many of the shortcomings of Dehya are leveled. For example, she will be able to collect her own particles of Energy and protect the entire squad.

In this situation, her rotation will be extremely simple - use the elemental skill when ready, and then switch to the main damage dealer to reduce the damage he takes. Elemental Explosion and Light Attacks can never be used.

In the case of opening most of the constellations and using signature weapons, the mercenary can be made a sub-DD or even a main-DD to apply Pyro status and deal damage with her abilities. True, a good hypercarry will not come out of her even with Bennett (С6).

Due to the transience of the elemental explosion, you will need to choose the right time to use it, for example, when you need to quickly deal with an elite enemy or when the boss is in a vulnerable state. At the same time, do not forget to press the E-shka every 0.4 seconds to speed up the attack. Don't use your ult when fighting small enemies, as they will often fly off unkilled, which is why you will have to run after them, wasting precious seconds on it.

    1. Her rotation will look like this:
    2. Use Dehya's elemental skill to start damaging Pyro outside of the battlefield with it and transfer some of the damage taken by the active fighter to her and increase his resistance to interruption.
    3. Switch to the main damage dealer and start dealing the main damage to them. Before that, you can activate the skills and buffs of other supports and sub-DD.
    4. Once Dehya's ult is ready, wait for the right moment (for example, when you need to quickly deal with an elite enemy or when the boss goes into a vulnerable state) and use it.
    5. Then you can return to the first point again.

If you use Daehyu as a main damage dealer and have Bennett (C6) on your team, you can stay on it longer, dealing damage to Pyro even with normal hits.

    Best builds for Daehya

    The best weapon

For a support, a claymore is best, which allows you to increase Dehya’s maximum health, and a sub-DD can take a two-handed sword for attack power or Obtaining Energy, since you will have to use a rather expensive Elemental Burst more often. The main damage dealer is suitable for a weapon with critical damage or a critical hit chance. The most interesting options are presented in the table below.

Name and rarity Characteristics (level 1-90) Passive ability

Sword of the Reed Sea (5 stars)

    Crete. chance: 7.2-33.08%

    Basic Attack: 46~608

When an elemental skill hits an enemy, increases attack power by 20~40% for 8 seconds. When damaged, increases ATK by 20~40% for 8 seconds. These bonuses occur even when the Achievement: Hero is not on the battlefield. Plus, if the fighter equipped by it does not have a shield, then its maximum health increases by 32~64%. Daehya's signature two-hander that increases both her attack power and HP, so it's suitable for any role. True, in no case should a shield officer be present in the detachment.

    Wolf’s Gravestone (5 stars)

    Attack Power: 10.8% -49.6%.

    Basic Attack: 46~608

Attack power is increased by 20-40%. If the opponent's HP drops to 30%, the attack power of each team member increases by 40-80% for 12 seconds. The ability can appear no more than once per 30 seconds. A good sword for sub-DD, as it allows you to increase the damage from skills. For a support, it will be useful in that it increases the ATK of other team members. HP can also be gained from artifacts.

    Skyward Pride (5 stars)

    Obtaining Energy: 8%~36.8%

    Basic Attack: 48~674

Increases damage dealt by 8%~16%. When using the ult and hitting enemies with simple and charged hits, a blade is created that deals 80% ~ 160% damage to all enemies in the way. The effect ends after eight blades or 20 seconds. Although this option is at the top of the list, it is not the best for Daehya, especially not having C6 and being used only as a support character. It's just one of the few legendary two-handers that more or less suits the heroine as a sub-DD.

    Akuoumaru (4 stars)

    Attack Power: 9-41.3%

    Basic Attack: 42~510

Increases damage from the character's ultimate by 0.12~0.24% for each elemental explosion cost of all team members. The damage bonus cannot exceed 40~80%. An excellent 4-star two-hander for Daehya as an ulti-procaster, as it allows her to greatly increase the damage of her ult.

    The Bell (4 stars)

    HP: 9%~41.3%

    Basic Attack: 42~510

Creates a Noelle: Protector upon taking damage that absorbs damage equal to 20%~32% of the wearer's maximum health. Appears every 45 seconds. While under a shield, the character deals 12%~24% more damage. A great option for a support, which allows you to completely do without a healer in the team. The passive has a very long cooldown, so it is unlikely that you will be able to use it often in combat.

    Katsuragikiri Nagamasa (4 stars)

    Obtaining Energy: 10%~45.9%

    Basic Attack: 42~510

Increases elemental skill damage by 6%~12%. When using the skill, the Achievement: Hero loses 3 points of energy, but gains 3-5 points every two seconds for the next six seconds. The bonus occurs once every ten seconds and works even if the fighter is not on the battlefield. A good option for a sub-DD, increasing the damage from the E-shki and making it possible to use the elemental explosion more often. True, it will be necessary to correctly calculate the time to use the skill so as not to harm the use of the ult. Can get free.

    Favonius Greatsword (4 stars)

    Obtaining Energy: 10%~45.9%

    Basic Attack: 42~510

On critical hits, it has a 60~100% chance to create elemental particles that restore 6 points of energy. The effect appears once every 12~6 seconds. A good option for a support that allows you to pour energy into a pack. True, you will need a high crit chance and will have to bring the mercenary to the battlefield more often.

    Luxurious Sea-Lord (4 stars)

    Attack Power: 12-55.1%

    Basic Attack: 41~454

Increases the damage of your ultimate by 12~24%, and if it hits an enemy, Tuna spawns, dealing area damage equal to 100~200% of your attack power. The effect occurs every 15 seconds. Suitable for an ult-procaster, as it makes it possible to significantly increase the damage from the explosion of the elements. True, this weapon could only be obtained as part of the Moonlight Merriment event.

    Flower in armor (4 stars)

    Elemental Mastery: 24~110

    Basic Attack: 44~565

Increases Attack Power by 12~24% and Elemental Mastery by 48~96 for 8 seconds after hitting an enemy with an elemental skill or generating an elemental reaction. You can try to give it a sub-DD used as an applicator or reactor. You can get it for free as part of the event.

    Ferrous Shadow (3 stars)

    HP: 7.7~35.2%

    Basic Attack: 39~401

When the character's health is within 70~90%, it becomes more difficult for opponents to interrupt your charged strike, the damage of which is increased by 30~50%. It is interesting only for its secondary attribute. Can be used as a temporary fix on a Daehye support.

    Best Artifacts

For a support, the most interesting option would be a full set "Fortitude of Millelite", 2 items of which increase the level of health by 20%, and 4 items - increase the attack of all heroes in the team by 20%, and the strength of their shield by 30%. The duration of the effect is 3 seconds (it occurs every 0.5 seconds). The effect triggers even if the character equipped with it is not on the battlefield. It can be found in the dungeon "Ridge Watch" .

For sub-DD, the option from the incomplete sets of Millelite's Fortitude and "Burning Scarlet Witch" (increases Pyro damage by 15%), which is obtained in the dungeon "Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula" . This way you can increase the damage of Dehya's abilities. You can also collect a full set of "witch" to increase the damage from reactions.

Ult-procaster can be given a complete set "Ceremonies of the ancient nobility", 2 parts of which increases the damage of the ultimate by 20%, and 4 parts increases the attack power of all team members by 20% for 12 seconds after the elemental explosion is activated. Dropped in a dungeon "Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern" . However, it will also be useful for a support, as it gives a bonus to allies.

In mono-Pyro packs with Kazuha or Venti Dehye, you can give a complete set "Lavawalker", 2 parts of which increase Pyro resistance by 40%, and 4 parts increase damage against mobs that are affected by Pyro by 35%. The set can be obtained from the Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula dungeon.

As for the main stats, take the hourglass for HP (attack or Obtaining Energy), the goblet for HP (or Pyro damage bonus), and the crown for HP (or critical damage / critical hit chance). Among the additional parameters, the selection priority is as follows: Obtaining Energy -> HP% -> Crits -> Attack%.

    The best commands for Daehya

As a support, a mercenary will suit many teams, replacing a shield or a healer. As a sub-DD, it can be placed with heroes who need high interrupt resistance, such as Ganyu. In the role of the main damage dealer, she looks good in the Bloom and Elemental Reaction: Burning squads and Pyro squads. The table below shows the best options.

    How to improve skills

You have to search and collect many different materials, namely:

    • Teachings, directions and philosophies about "Honesty" - obtained on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in the dungeon
    • "Steeple of Ignorance" .
    • Faded, Banded, and Goldweave Red Silk - Drop from deserters, purchasable with starlight, or crafted with Alchemy.
    • Puppet Strings - Dropped by a weekly boss Seki no Kami.
    • Crown of Insight - can be obtained during events, as well as by leveling the Sacred Sakura, the Permafrost Tree and the Dream Tree.

If we talk about the priority of leveling abilities, then only the elemental skill is important for a support, so first of all, level it. For sub-DD, E-shku can be downloaded simultaneously with the ult. You don't have to raise your normal attacks (unless you plan on using Daehyu as a main damage dealer).

How to level up a character

Get ready to search and collect a large number of different materials. Their list and extraction methods are listed below.

    • First Ascension (Level 20; 20,000 mora) - 1 Agnidus Agate Sliver, 3 Sand Wen Grubs, 3 Faded Red Silks
    • Second Ascension (Level 40; 40,000 mora) - 3 Agnidus Agate Fragments, 2 Light Guide Tetrahedra, 10 Sand Wen Grubs, 15 Faded Red Silk
    • Third Ascension (Level 50; 60,000 mora) - 6 Agnidus Agate Fragments, 4 Light Guide Tetrahedra, 20 Sand Wen Larvae, 12 Bordered Red Silks
    • Ascension 4 (level 60; 80,000 mora) - 3 pieces of Agnidus agate, 8 light-conducting tetrahedra, 30 sand wen larvae, 18 bordered red silk
    • Fifth Ascension (level 70; 100,000 mora) - 6 pieces of Agnidus agate, 12 light-conducting tetrahedrons, 45 sand wen larvae, 12 gold-woven red silk
    • Sixth Ascension (Level 80; 120,000 mora) - 6 Precious Agnidus Agates, 20 Light Conducting Tetrahedrons, 60 Sand Wen Larvae, 24 Goldweave Red Silks

You can get Agnidus agates with Pyro hypotasis, pyro orchids, ancient geovishap, Lupus Borealis, Azhdahi And Seniors. They can also be bought at the souvenir shop and knocked out of Algorithm of the semi-eternal matrix of the observation operator, from which light-conducting tetrahedra also fall out. Sand wen larvae are a local curiosity of Sumeru. IN separate guide we have indicated their location.
