In the thirteenth chapter of the game, you will find yourself in the Freezer, one of the chambers inside of which is locked with a terminal with a puzzle. This article will show you how to power up the terminal, solve the puzzle, and get the LE 5 submachine gun along with the Level 2 Keycard in Resident Evil 4 (2023).
Solving the puzzle with the terminal in the Freezer in chapter 13
Freezer Location
You will go to this location on the main task of the chapter, when you get the Level 1 Key Card and you will need to sequentially find cards of a higher access level.
First, you need to redirect the power to the left side of the building with the switch lever, otherwise the locks and other electronics simply will not work and you will not be able to use them.
How to get the Level 2 Key Card in Chapter 13
Inside the Freezer, you can exchange your existing card for Key card of the 2nd access level. While waiting for the operation to be processed, you will have to fight with several enemies, but the key will be needed for further progress, so this stage cannot be skipped in any case.
How to get the LE 5 submachine gun: Freezer terminal puzzle
The Freezer also has a terminal that prevents one of the freezer doors from opening.
To solve the puzzle on his screen, you need to redirect energy through the circuits from the source (Power) to the points with the image of lightning. The switch below the screen allows you to select the level of intersections, and the action button rotates them around its axis. Start at the topmost node, working your way in straight lines to the targets.
The solution to the puzzle depends on the difficulty level on which you are playing the game, so the screenshots above show both possible options.
In the opened chamber you can pick up automatic LE 5 and finally leave the Freezer, continuing the passage of the chapter in warmer rooms.
