In Genshin Impact, Udumbara Pistil are special collectibles that must be collected to awaken the spirits that reside in Fravashi Trees. They are obtained from the mystical udumbar flowers by interacting with Sorush runestones. In this guide, we will tell you where to find these plants, and how to get the buds.
How to collect Udumbara Pistil
So, we have already noted above that these items are required for Fravashi trees, the awakening of which must be dealt with as part of the quest chain "Pale Flame" for getting feathers of cleansing light. One spirit can demand three udumbara buds from you.
To collect them you will need Sorush, which you will receive as a companion when completing a world quest "The majestic sky of that day". Next, go to the runestone, call a bet (key "Z"), hover next to the green heart and start holding the key to use her skill ("E").
As a result, you will automatically switch back to the character, and you will see a huge purple flower in the place where the rune used to be. Sit on its top and click on the "Collect" button in order to pick up the bud. We advise you to get off the flower before calling Sorush again, otherwise you will simply fall down.
Note: You can understand that you have taken a bud from one or another Udumbara by the orange petals spinning around a green heart. If they are not there, it means that the flower is already useless for you.
Where to find all Udumbara Pistil in Genshin Impact
All can be found six udumbar, and they all grow on the territory of the Asipattravana swamp, located in the Farahkert kingdom. This way you can get six buds, which will be required for two fravashi trees. You can collect them in any order. The map below shows their approximate location. Next, we will take a closer look at the collection of pistils.
Udumbara Pistil 1
Move to the indicated teleporter, and then run east and jump down the cliff. Stand on the ledge shown in the screenshot below and you will see a runestone in front of you. Call Sorush, fly up to him and use her skill while holding the "E" key.
The result will be a purple flower. Having regained control over the hero, jump on him and take the bud.
Udumbara Pistil 2
Teleport to the fast travel point in the north of the swamp, and then turn right and run forward to the cliff. Jump down from it, turn around, and you will see the next runestone on the rock. Land on the ledge below him and summon Sorush.
Fly up and hover right next to the heart, and then use the bet skill. After returning to the hero, climb the rock or use the four-leaf symbols on the right to climb to the top of the flower and pick up the bud.
Udumbara Pistil 3
From the previous flower, jump down and fly to the bottom of the gorge. However, before reaching it, land on a rocky ledge located above the runestone. Next, as usual, call the bet.
Go down a bit as Sorush and hover near the green heart, then use your skill. You will return to the character. Now just jump off the cliff and you will immediately land on the purple flower. Collect the bud.
Udumbara Pistil 4
Return to the north teleporter, then turn around and run south to the edge of the cliff. Jump down, fly down a few tens of meters, constantly looking back, and soon you will see a runestone on the rock. Land on the ledge above it so you don't have to climb up later.
Summon Sorush, fly down a little, hover over the heart and use the skill. Now the character just jump down to the purple flower and pick up the bud.
Udumbara Pistil 5
Move to the teleporter in the south, and then turn around and you will notice a runestone on a small cliff. Stand on the ledge below it, and then call the bet.
Hover next to the heart and hold the skill key to create a purple flower and switch back to the character. Now just climb up and pick up the desired item.
Udumbara Pistil 6
Move to the east teleporter and run north along the path, and then turn left and go past the tree, over which hangs a Dendroculus. Then stand on the edge of the cliff shown in the screenshot below and summon Sorush.
Fly down and you will see a runestone on the rock. Hang near it and use the bet skill. Now just jump the hero off the cliff and land on the flower to collect the last bud.
Then you just have to find the necessary Fravashi trees and give them 3 udumbara buds so that their spirits awaken and you can get feathers.
