In Genshin Impact, the Plume of Purifying Light is a special collectible item added to the game With You the release of patch 3.6. Collecting these fragments that were left by Khvarna, and offering them amrita lake, you will receive various rewards, including Source Stones.
In this guide, we will tell you where to find and obtain Purifying Light Feathers, how they should be collected, and how offerings are made. We recommend that you start collecting them after completing the quest chain "Hvarna of Good and Evil".
How to Collect Plume of Purifying Light
We are talking about fragments left by the entities of Hvarna, who have exhausted all their strength. To extract them you will need bet Sorush (a unique companion tool). However, when it approaches, some of the feathers may try to hide, so you will have to catch up with them.
Other feathers of the purifying light will disintegrate into a large number of individual leaves when Soroush appears. In this case, you will need to activate the bet and start collecting leaves floating in the air. By doing this, you will restore the orb and be able to pick it up.
There are also feathers hidden in fravashi trees. To get them, you will need to complete a request from the spirit, such as defeating a group of enemies or collecting three fragments. There will be 10 such orders in total. You can familiarize yourself with their passage in separate guide.
Where to find Plume of Purifying Light
Total in Among the Sands you can get 36 similar fragments, and some of them will be underground, while others will be on the surface. The interactive map below shows the location of all feathers. You can mark which ones you have found to make it easier to track your progress (don't clear your browser cache). Next, we will explain in detail how to get all the particles.
Plumage 1
- Location: Oasis of Vurukash
Travel to the southern teleport of the indicated area, and then move northeast to a blue root that wraps around a huge stump. Approach him and summon Sorush. Fly up a little and you will see an orange sphere.
Fly up to her, and then collect 12 fragments in 40 seconds. The entire route is shown in the screenshots below. As soon as you pick them up, a plume of cleansing light will appear ahead - don't forget to fly through it.
Plumage 2
- Location: Oasis of Vurukash
Teleport again to the southern point and go a little to the northeast to the giant root arch. In front of her, an orange sphere will hang over the pond.
Summon Sorush and fly up to the ball. Next, you will need to collect 13 fragments in 30 seconds. The images below show the entire route. You just have to fly around the pond. Do not forget to pick up the plumage itself at the end, which will hang over the pond.
Plumage 3
- Location: Oasis of Vurukash
Move to the statue of the seven Archons in the west of the specified area and run southeast to the giant root broken in half. On its upper right side, you will find an orange orb. Climb to the bottom and summon Sorush.
Fly up to the ball, and then collect 9 fragments in 40 seconds. The entire route is shown in the pictures below. Do not forget to fly through the plumage at the end, which will appear at the end of the path.
Plumage 4
- Location: Barsom Hills
Move to the southwest teleport of the specified area, and then move east along the cliff. The sphere you need is hovering on the middle ledge. Jump down and summon Sorush.
Fly up to the balloon, and then start flying after it. It will move towards the western upper ledge. The images below show the route of his flight.
Plumage 5
- Location: Barsom Hills
Teleport to the Cleansing Spring dungeon and run north to the huge tree ahead. In front of it, you will find an orange sphere floating above the ground. Summon Sorush and fly through it.
Next, you will need to chase the ball, which will not fly very far. If you accelerate, you can catch him at the very beginning of the path.
Plumage 6
- Location: Coast of Samudra
Get to the northeast coast, and you will see a pile of sand at the point we indicated. Use any Anemo attack on it to make an orange orb appear. Next, call Sorush and fly through it.
Now you will need to collect 7 fragments in 40 seconds. The entire route is shown in the screenshots below. Do not forget to pick up plumage at the end of the path.
Plumage 7
- Location: Coast of Samudra
Located underground. Access here can be opened when completing a world quest "When the light of Hvarna appears". Move to the marked teleport (in the west of the Asipattravan swamp) and jump from the wooden platform forward. Start going deeper into the cave and go through the round passage.
Once in a spacious area with a huge device, turn into the right passage and continue down the stairs. Then go through the hole at the very bottom to get to the test site.
Go to the center of the arena to the cannon of the ruins, and then turn the camera up and to the right. There, near the flower, you will find an orange sphere. Summon Sorush and fly through it. You have to collect 4 fragments in 30 seconds. The entire route is shown in the picture below. At the end, be sure to pick up the most plumage.
Plumage 8
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
It is also underground. To get it, you need to fulfill the request of the spirit enclosed in the Fravashi tree. You can read more about this in our separate guide.
Plumage 9
- Location: Tunigi Gap (North)
Move to the indicated teleporter, and then glide down in a northwest direction. You will see an orange ball floating above the cactus. Summon Sorush and fly through it.
Next, you will need to catch up and catch the sphere, which will start flying towards the stone arch in the east. The pictures below show where it will stop.
Plumage 10
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
Move to the northern teleport of the specified area, located on top of the cliff, run forward and jump off the cliff to the bottom of the gorge. Before reaching the very bottom, glide a little to the right to a giant root, over which an orange sphere will hover. Land on the root and summon Sorush.
Fly through the ball and then start chasing it. It will fly west to the next roots where you can pick it up. Note that after collecting plumage, a four-leafed symbol will appear at the top.
Plumage 11
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
Find a Fravashi tree in the marked place and fulfill the request of the spirit imprisoned in it. You have to find three udumbara buds. We talked about this in more detail in separate guide.
Plumage 12
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
Travel to the statue of the seven Archons in the oasis of Vurukash, and then move west along the cliff. On the edge of the cliff you will find an orange sphere. Next to her will be a couple of hilichurls. Deal with the enemies, summon Sorush and fly through the balloon.
Next, you will need to collect 8 fragments in 30 seconds. The entire route is shown in the picture below. Do not forget to grab plumage at the end of the path.
Plumage 13
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
Teleport to the statue of the seven Archons in the oasis of Vurukash, run forward and jump off the cliff. Fly down until you see a huge root with an orange orb floating above it. Land on it, summon Sorush and fly through the balloon.
Next, you will need to catch up with the plumage, which will begin to fly in a southerly direction. If you accelerate, you can catch him at the very beginning of the path.
Plumage 14
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
Teleport again to the statue of the seven Archons in the Vurukashi oasis and follow the road to the west. Use the quatrefoil to climb the ledge and go forward under the stone archway. Then turn right, gravitate towards the next 4-leaf symbol and you will see an orange orb a little further on.
Call Sorush, fly through the ball and start chasing him. It won't fly too far, so you should be able to catch it almost immediately.
Plumage 15
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
Travel to the teleporter below and then just go right and you will see an orange orb hovering above the rock. Call Sorush and fly through it.
Then you will need to collect 6 fragments in 30 seconds. The entire route is shown in the screenshots below. At the end, do not forget to grab the plumage itself, which will appear in front of the path.
Plumage 16
Teleport to the fast travel point below, then turn around and run into the cave. Run down the tunnel without turning anywhere until you reach a wooden ledge. Jump off it, immediately turn around and enter another tunnel, at the end of which you will find a tree. Read more about his request in separate guide.
Plumage 17
- Location: Asipattravan Swamp
From the 15th flight, run south and start climbing the cliff ahead on the right side. On one of the ledges you will find an orange sphere. Call Sorush and fly through it.
Then you have to collect 14 fragments in 60 seconds. The entire route is shown in the screenshots below. At the end, do not forget to grab the plumage itself, which will appear above the hilichurl tent.
Plumage 18
Teleport to the western fast travel point of Asipattravan Swamp and then follow the path to the south (climbing the rocks is optional). Call your red-haired friend, activate her skill and chat with the spirit. Read more about his request in separate guide.
Plumage 19
- Location: Tunigi Gap
Travel to the statue of the seven Archons In the Mountains, and then go west along the road. On the edge of the ledge, you will find an orange sphere. Call Sorush and fly through it.

- Location: Temir Mountains
Teleport to the statue of the seven Archons in the indicated area, and then jump down the ledge to the road. Run south along it a bit and you'll see an orange orb. Call Sorush and fly through the balloon.
Now you will need to collect 6 fragments in 45 seconds. The entire route is shown in the screenshots below. At the end, do not forget to grab the plumage itself, which will appear a little higher.
Plumage 21
- Location: Temir Mountains
Teleport to the statue of the seven archons in the oasis of Vurukashi and run to the southwest. Climb up the ledge with the quatrefoil, turn left and go under the huge stone archway. Thus, you will get to the right gorge. Turn left again and soon you will see an orange orb ahead.
Call Sorush and fly through it. Then start following the balloon that will fly along the gorge to the east. Use the boost to quickly catch up with him.
Plumage 22
- Location: Temir Mountains
Teleport to the statue of the seven Archons in the marked area and cross to the southern mountain. There, above the gray crystal, the orange sphere you need will soar. Summon Sorush and fly through it.
Then you have to collect 10 fragments in 60 seconds. The desired route is shown in the pictures below. At the end, pick up the plumage that will appear on top of the gray crystal.
Plumage 23
- Location: Tunigi Gap
First of all, you will need to complete the quest "When the light of Hvarna appears". Teleport to the underground travel point in the indicated area and drop down to the relays and transducers. Then go through the right passage and run forward along the tunnel without turning anywhere until you reach a huge lava cauldron. Here, too, turn into the passage on the right.
Climb up into a spacious cave, go deeper a little, and you will find an orange sphere hovering under the slope here. Summon Sorush and fly through it. Next, you have to collect 15 fragments in 45 seconds. We have shown the entire route in the pictures below.
Plumage 24
- Location: Tunigi Gap
Travel to the teleport shown on the map below, and then move east to the mountain. Near the foot of the cliff you will see an orange orb (if you have not cleared this area yet, it will be covered with gray crystals). Summon Sorush and fly through it.
Then start chasing the ball, which will fly towards the peak and stop above it.
Plumage 25
From the 26th plumage, go to the northeast, and then jump down from the cliff. There you will find the next object you need. Approach him, call Sorush, activate her skill and talk to the spirit. Read more about his request in separate guide.

Move to the eastern teleporter of the Gate of Zu-l-Qarnayn and start running east. Climb the rock, walk along the gray crystal, and you will see a rounded tree near the edge of the cliff. - Location: Coast of Samudra
An orange orb hangs over a cactus located right next to the teleport shown on the map below. Summon Sorush and fly through it.

Plumage 28
Travel to the northernmost teleport of the Gate of Zu-l-Karnayn, and then run forward to the gray crystals. Behind them you will find a tree. Awaken the spirit in it with the power of Sorush and chat with it. Read more about his request in separate guide.
Plumage 29
- Location: Coast of Samudra
Move to the underground teleport in the south of the specified area and run forward to the gray crystals. Go around them, turn the camera to the right and up, and then pull yourself up to the quatrefoil, near which an orange sphere will hang.
Call Sorush, fly through it, and then start collecting 10 fragments. You need to do this in 60 seconds. The screenshots below show the entire route. Do not forget to pick up the plumage itself at the end.
Plumage 30
Travel to the southern Samudra coast teleporter, and then head south to the huge cliff and go around it on the left side (you don't need to climb anywhere). Next, climb the small slope on the right, and you will find the desired object. Summon Sorush, activate her skill and communicate with the spirit. Read more about his request in separate guide.
Plumage 31
- Location: Tunigi Gap
Move to the underground teleportation point, and then turn around and run into the gap in the huge round gate. You will enter a spacious cave. Fly to the other side with the four leaf symbols and run into the tunnel.
Move forward through the tunnel until you reach the next large area. Raise the camera up and you will see an orange sphere. Stand right under her and call on Sorush - she will be able to fly to her.

Plumage 32
Travel to the underground teleportation point in the northeastern part of the Gate of Zu-l-Qarnayn and start down the tunnel down to the yellow barrier. Remove it with the Sorush skill and move on. Plumage 33
- Location: Tunigi Gap
Move to the teleport shown on the map below and move north to the breach. If you have already cleared the area of corruption, then the orange ball will hang over the stone peak, and otherwise - over the gray crystal. Summon Sorush and fly through it.
Next, you have to chase the ball, which will immediately fly down. If you accelerate, you can catch him at the very beginning of the path.
Plumage 34
Travel to the teleporter in the southeast of the Gate of Zu-l-Qarnayn, and then move north to the Tunigi Gap. Climb the cliff and look for the right round tree on its edge. As usual, activate Sorush, use her skill and talk to the spirit. Read more about his request in separate guide.
Plumage 35
- Location: Achievement: Gate of Dhu-l-Qarnayn
Move to the east teleport of the specified area, and then run west along the road. You will find yourself near the entrance to the cave - go inside and start delving into it until you get into a spacious area. Don't jump off the ledge, but instead keep running forward towards the stone pillar with an orange orb hanging over it.
Call Sorush and fly through the balloon. Next, you will need to catch him. Fly after him until he stops over the second dilapidated column (see pictures below).
Plumage 36
- Location: Achievement: Gate of Dhu-l-Qarnayn
Move to the teleport indicated on the map below, and then go down in a southeast direction. Soon you will see an orange orb hovering over a large gray crystal. Summon Sorush and fly through it.
Next, you will need to collect 10 fragments in 60 seconds. The pictures below show the entire route. At the end, do not forget to pick up the plumage itself, which will appear above the tent on the left.
What are the feathers of the purifying light for?
We have already noted above that these fragments can be presented as a gift amrita lake to increase its level and receive a special blessing from the trees and waters. In total, this reservoir can be upgraded to the sixth rank, bringing it 36 plumage.
You can find the lake inside a giant tree located in the Vurukashi oasis location. The exact location is shown in the screenshots above. Note that blessings will be granted randomly. After six offerings, you will receive all possible rewards.
Once you have acquired 30 Purifying Light Feathers, the Amrita Pool Revelation will become available, allowing you to see the location of the remaining fragments on the map, making it much easier to find them.
