In Honkai: Star Rail, the Forgotten Hall is one of the activities in which you will have to go through the Memories while fighting against various elite enemies and bosses. As a reward, you will receive star jade, loans and valuable materials. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock these challenges and complete all floors.
How to open the Forgotten Hall
Passage of the mission "Flying Lights"
To unlock this quest, you need to reach level 21 of mastery, and then wait for a message from Pom-Pom, in which she will tell you about the appearance of something strange and invisible on the express train. After that, the corresponding task will appear in your journal.
There is nothing to do, you need to return to the train. After moving to the Common Car at the Hertha Space Station, talk to the conductor. He will tell you about what happened, and then ask you to find a strange phenomenon.
We are talking about a half-broken mirror standing in the corner (see screenshot below). Approach it and examine it. After that, an unknown entity will appear, which will call itself the Messenger. Talk to him and agree to take the test.
You will need to complete any Memory. Naturally, at this point in time, only the first of them will be open to you. During it, you will have to fight a dangerous elite enemy. We have detailed how to do this below. Having dealt with the enemies, talk again with the Messenger, who will ask you not to tell your companions about what happened.
Next, talk again with Pom-Pom and with your comrades. You will need to decide what to say to them about the appearance of the members of the Garden of Remembrance on the express train:
- Tell the team the whole truth. In this case, the Messenger will get angry with you, and then inform you that he will correct the memory of the crew so that they forget your words.
- Lie to the team about the Messenger. In this case, you will say that the spirit of the Inquisition has appeared. Then you need to choose one of three options. Say, "He asked if anything joyful happened recently." In this case, Velt will support you.
However, whichever option you choose, the quest will end the same way, and your reward will not change - 2,000 credits and 3 discharged ether. From now on, you will be able to freely pass the floors of the Hall of Oblivion.
Oblivion Hall: Key Features
It's about a series of individual levels where you have to defeat all the enemies and meet certain conditions in order to get all the rewards. At the same time, the complexity of the stage and the reward do not depend on your level of balance.
The hall of oblivion consists of two parts:
- Memories - have a standard difficulty and open gradually in the process of research. They are permanent in nature, that is, it is enough to pass them only once.
- Memories of Chaos - have an increased difficulty, and their contents and rewards will periodically (once every 2 weeks) change, allowing you to constantly receive 600 Star Jades.
Rules and Effects
Entering the Hall of Oblivion, you will be temporarily disconnected from the outside world. You will be prohibited from doing the following:
- Change team members.
- Upgrade light cones and relics.
- Download heroes.
- Use the consumables present in the inventory.
To simplify your task a little, the developers have added to each level certain bonuses, which can greatly strengthen your group if you pick the right heroes. For example, if there is a buff to increase physical damage, then as many characters as possible with the corresponding element should be added to the team.
Goals and cycles
If you want to get the maximum reward, then you will need to not only defeat all the monsters, but also complete certain tasks. In most cases, you need to complete the level without losing more than one character and leaving more than 12 cycles after winning.
Cycles mean normal moves. As a rule, 20 cycles are given for the entire battle, which are shown in the upper left part of the screen and have a countdown. If the goals indicate 12 cycles, then you need to defeat all enemies in 8 moves. Of course, for this, your squad must be able to deal significant damage to opponents.
How to pass Flashback I
The level page will contain all the basic information on enemies, targets and bonuses, so we will not duplicate it here, just posting the relevant screenshots just below.
Recommended characters and teams
When selecting battlegroups, we advise you to focus on the weaknesses of the bosses, and not ordinary mobs, since it is the first that you will need to deal maximum damage. At the same time, it is desirable that at least one hero has an element that is most common among ordinary enemies (it is very good if it belongs to the Erudite path).
As for the minimum level of your characters, it must not be lower than the level of the boss, otherwise it will be extremely difficult to defeat him. It is best if your fighters are 2-3 levels higher than him. Of course, they must also have upgraded light cones And relics.

Most enemies in this level are vulnerable to physical and wind damage. We recommend that you take at least one character of the indicated elements, and any of them should be a damage dealer. Electric and ice characters will help close the remaining vulnerabilities.
It is very important to take at least one healer, especially if your characters are lower than or equal in level to the boss.

Dan Heng is the most optimal damage dealer for this challenge due to the ability to deal massive wind damage to single enemies. Natasha, on the other hand, will heal allies and destroy the stamina of some opponents. March 7 and Serval will help close the remaining vulnerabilities.

How to defeat all enemies
While in the open world, start the battle with a physical attack, as most opponents in the first wave are vulnerable to the corresponding type of damage.
First of all, deal with baryons and antibaryons, and in both waves. This way you will be able to minimize the damage received from enemies. In the second battle, first deal with the Invaders, and only then concentrate all attacks on the Suppressor.
One of the goals in each stage of the Forgotten Hall is to prevent your characters from dying. For this reason, don't forget to leave skill points for the characters of Abundance or Preservation so that they can heal or protect their allies in time.

While in the open world, start the battle with a physical or electric attack, as most opponents in the first wave are vulnerable to the corresponding damage.
Enemies at this stage are in clusters next to each other and often have the same vulnerabilities, so use area attacks to break the tenacity of most enemies at once and end the fight faster.

While in the open world, start the battle with a fire attack, as most opponents in the first wave are vulnerable to the corresponding damage.
We advise you to deal with the offspring first of all, as they have relatively little health, but at the same time they can cause noticeable damage. In addition, in the second wave, you can easily break the resistance of Ice from space with the help of Asta, if there are no other enemies on the battlefield.
One of the goals in each stage of the Forgotten Hall is to prevent your characters from dying. For this reason, don't forget to leave skill points for the characters of Abundance or Preservation so that they can heal or protect their allies in time.
Special Reward
Note that for the passage of the third Memories, you will receive a 4-star heroine of the quantum element named Qingque for free.

In the fifth stage, we advise you to take at least one or two electric characters, since all opponents, including the boss, are vulnerable to this element. Common mobs are also weak to wind damage, making Sampo and Armor quite effective heroes in this challenge.
Zele's hypercarry can also be a great option, as she will take out weak enemies one by one with no problem. Tingyun and Armor will not only be able to increase the damage of the main damage dealer, but also reduce the resistance of enemies.

How to defeat all enemies
While in the open world, start the battle with an electric attack, as most opponents in the first wave are vulnerable to the corresponding damage.
First of all, try to deal with the automaton spiders using area attacks. The fact is that when they die, they self-destruct, causing damage to their allies.
We add that at the second stage, the boss will be able to summon spider automata, which will immediately go to the stage of self-destruction. After a turn, they will run at your characters and explode, causing them significant damage. For this reason, you should deal with them as quickly as possible using area attacks.
