Trailblaze Level in Honkai Star Rail: leveling up and increasing experience

    Zorthrus

In Honkai: Star Rail, the Trailblaze Level is one of the game parameters that shows the level of account leveling. Thanks to its increase, new mechanics, activities, missions and modes are opened. Plus, there are various awards. There are many ways to increase this indicator, and we will cover everything in this guide, indicating the most effective ones.

Why you need to increase the Trailblaze Level

This parameter indirectly demonstrates how far you were able to advance in the study of the game world. However, once you reach a certain threshold, you will no longer be able to level up your Mastery until you increase your Balance rank. It is the increase of the latter that unlocks a lot of additional functions. You can read more about it in our separate guide.

The table below shows at what level of Mastery the Balance increase is unlocked and what exactly it unlocks.

    Mastery Level Balance level Unlocks
    20 1

Characters and light cones can be upgraded to level 40.

The number of equipment points increases to 4.

    Opens access to crimson sepals.

Each Daily Workout quest earns 230 Mastery XP.

    thirty 2

Characters and light cones can be upgraded to level 50.

The number of vehicle points is increased to 5.

    Unlocks Stagnant Shadows.

Each Daily Workout quest earns 260 Mastery XP.

    40 3

Characters and light cones can be upgraded to level 60.

    Opens access to crafting relics.

Each Daily Workout quest earns 290 Mastery XP.

    50 4

Characters and light cones can be upgraded to level 70.

Each Daily Workout quest earns 320 Mastery XP.

    60 5

Characters and light cones can be upgraded to level 80.

Each Daily Workout quest earns 350 Mastery XP.

70 6 Each Daily Workout quest earns 380 Mastery XP.

The maximum level of Mastery at the present time is the 70th. At the same time, increasing it to this value now practically does not make sense. It is enough to get the 60th level and the 5th rank of Equilibrium to upgrade your heroes and weapons to the maximum values. Almost all content will be available to you.

How to increase Trailblaze Level in Honkai: Star Rail

There are many ways to increase this indicator. Some of them are more efficient than others. There are also both one-time and permanent level-up methods. Below we will describe each of them in as much detail as possible.

    Exploration, companion and adventure missions

The exploration missions are story missions and virtually the only source of learning experience at the very beginning of the game. We advise you to take on all the main quests available to you as early as possible, since they often give several hundred “exps” for completing them.

In addition, it is precisely when advancing through the story that you will often discover new mechanics and modes, for which they can also give experience of development. Here are just some missions that can only be completed after reaching a certain account level, so you still can’t do without participating in additional activities.

These side activities include companion missions And adventures. The first are the personal quests of your companions. For them, too, you can often get 300-600 Mastering experience. The second ones are secondary tasks for which they give a smaller reward, but they are also usually completed much faster.

    Daily workout

One of the most profitable permanent ways earning experience in the game. Access to it opens when completing a story mission "The Long Wait for the Edge of the Blade". To go to the corresponding window, you need to press the F4 key or the Interstellar World Guide icon in the main menu.

Here you will find 6 tasks, for the completion of which they give out 100 or 200 activity points. To receive all rewards, you need to earn 500 points, that is, it is not necessary to complete all assignments. We add that you will close many of them simply by performing daily routine actions like farming materials, so there should be no problems with them.

Above, we have already indicated that the amount of experience gained from mastering directly depends on your level of Equilibrium. For example, at rank 4, for getting 500 activity points, you can earn 1600 "exp". Plus, you will be given star jade, crystals and useful materials. Rewards are updated when the server is reset (occurs every day at 4am).

    Briefing

Another one-time source of learning experience. It is also in the Guide to the Interstellar World (first section). By completing various tasks, you will earn 100 experience points. Often you will just need to upgrade characters and light cones to certain levels, open chests and go through various activities, that is, again, these tasks will be closed when simply exploring the world.

Caves of corrosion, sepals, stagnant shadows and echoes of war

We decided to add all these activities in one section, since all of them require the expenditure of Energy to complete and are in the same category of the Interstellar World Guide - "Survival Index".

In terms of the experience points they give out, they are all equal, that is, for 10 units of energy spent, you will receive 50 “exp” from any of them, and for 60 - 300. However, they differ in speed and ease. Fighting weekly bosses and elite enemies is noticeably more difficult than ordinary mobs. Among the latter, there are also easy enemies, for example, offspring of ice and fire. Therefore, if you need to quickly gain mastery experience, then we advise you to simply go through 3 times Golden sepal "Bud of memories".

We add that activity data will not be available to you immediately, but after performing certain actions:

    • Corrosion Caverns are unlocked as part of a story quest. "Under the scorching dawn sun" (requires mastery level 24).
    • Echoes of War is unlocked after completing the main quest. "Paths to the past have long been closed" (requires mastery level 24).
    • Crimson sepals open after reaching level 1 of Equilibrium.
    • Stagnant shadows open after reaching the 2nd level of Equilibrium.

If you are a bit short on Mastering Experience to advance to the next level, and you want to do it today instead of waiting for tomorrow, then you can restore 60 Mastery Energy by spending:

    • Fuel x1 - issued as a reward for obtaining a new level of Mastery.
    • 50 star jade - up to 8 exchange attempts can be made per day.

    Chests

Opening chests - this is not the best method of earning exploration experience, since you will not get very many of them, plus, finding these objects often requires solving puzzles and carefully exploring locations. However, chests give a ton of other valuables, including star jade.

So consider getting mastering experience just a nice addition to other types of rewards. By the way, for an ordinary chest they give 5 points, for a valuable one - 20 points, and for a luxurious one - 30 points.

    Virtual universe

Although it is also included in the Survival Index section, we nevertheless decided to single it out separately, since it is somewhat different from other activities. Firstly, mastering experience can only be gained after defeating elite opponents and the boss. Only passage of the World you can earn 800 Mastering XP by spending 160 Mastering Energy.

Secondly, instead of energy, you can spend dive keys - 4 pieces are issued as a reward for points earned when clearing Worlds zones. Rewards are updated every week. Thus, once every 7 days, you can get an additional 800 development experience. In addition, for the first passage of the World on each difficulty level, you will receive another 200 experience.

We add that to open the last 5th difficulty level of each World of the virtual universe, it is required Level 6 Balance. This is, in fact, the only reason for leveling up to level 65.

    Trailblaze Level Rewards

In addition, you can also receive various rewards from Pom-Pom, which is located in the Common Car, for increasing the level of Balance and Mastery. They include additional Technique points, star passes, credits, and valuable materials. For this reason, do not forget to visit this cute furry from time to time.

The pictures below show all the rewards that can be obtained for each new level of Pom Pom's Balance.

We hope that our guide helped you understand what the Mastery level in Honkai: Star Rail is, why you need to increase it, and exactly how to do it.
