In Remnants 2 The Invader is a secret archetype aimed at using various lures and tricks. However, to unlock it, you need to perform a lot of non-obvious actions, as well as find special figures, keys, a Dream Catcher and a Wooden Shank in various locations. In this guide, we will tell you how to open this class, and what features it has.
How to unlock the Invader class in Remnant 2
First of all, you need to unlock the worlds of Losom and the World of the Root, that is, almost completely complete the game. All the necessary items are mined only in these regions.
Where to find stone figurines and keys
First of all, you will need to find a variation of the Losom world, in which Morrow's Sanatorium is present (we advise you to look in the "Adventure" mode, which can be constantly restarted), which can be reached from Morrow's House - just follow the story quests and, sooner or later, you will get to the desired location.
Once in the hospital, take up the search for stone figures. They are not directly related to the opening of the desired class, but they allow you to get a nice bonus. First figurine can be found in a room with bookshelves and a hostile nurse.
Note: The location of the figurines may change slightly with each new playthrough, so in your case, the figurine, for example, can be hidden in the same room, but in a different corner.
Second figurine can be found in the courtyard of the hospital near the locked barn. After picking up the figurine, return to the barn and open it. You will immediately be attacked by an elite enemy - Saw. You can fight him or just enter the building to grab The key to the third floor of the hospital and quickly run away from the enemy.
Then return to the building and go up to the second floor. Look for an open door leading to a ladder that you can use to climb up to the third floor. Having risen, open the door with the key obtained earlier, and you will enter the corridor. Here, enter the first passage on the left side. Once in the room with a hole in the floor, go outside through the right window.
You will find yourself on the balcony, where you can find Prison cell key. Return to the building and inspect the next room, as you will find in it third stone figurine. It's time to complete the side quest associated with them.
How to get the Double Barrel
Return to the room with the hole in the floor and jump down into it to get to the very first tier. Then go to the left passage shown in the second screenshot below. In the corridor, turn left again and go down to the basement. At the fork with a spider web and a blue light, turn right.
Run to the end of the corridor and you'll find an iron door on the right - interact with it to talk to the mysterious woman. Give her the three stone figurines found earlier by choosing the dialogue option "I have something for you"
. She will sing you the code for the safe (2971), which is located in one of the rooms on the first floor of the hospital. Inside it lies a starting weapon Alchemist - Double barrel.
Where to find the Soul Key
Go back to the iron door and now choose the option to open it. Inside you will find stone figurine of the Night Weaver. Then go up to the third floor and approach the painted door to go to Nimue's Hideout. Speak with the goddess and ask her to transport you to the Night Weaver's hunting grounds.
Next, start clearing the new location by following the exclamation mark on the map. In the end, go through the door leading to the Ruined Gallery and fight the boss that has spawned here. After dealing with him, go down the stairs to the next room, where you will encounter the weaver for the first time. Approach the corpse and take the Soul Key.
How to get a dream catcher
Now return to the basement of the Morrow Asylum, where you found the figurine earlier, and interact with the blue light in the web at the fork. As a result, you will move to the Hospital of Torment. Immediately turn left and enter the prison cell on the left side. Insert the figurine into the web to get the Dreamcatcher weapon.
Where to find the Traveler's Dream
Go to the Root World and go to the Warped Vault location. Then start running forward until you reach the first checkpoint shown in the picture below. From the teleporter, go down the stairs and turn left. At the end of the corridor, turn left again.
Ahead you will see a wall of fog and an event. Pass it, and then turn right and enter the opened passage. Turn right again, go downstairs, and then turn left. As a result, you will fall into a spacious area with an elite enemy. Deal with all the mobs and approach the gray sphere, inside of which you will find the amulet "Escalation Protocol". Equip the Dreamcatcher and hit the pod with a charged attack to receive a Traveler's Dream.
How to use a wooden sharpener
Open your inventory, find the consumable you just received and place it in the hotbar. Before you use it, prepare well, as next you will have to fight a powerful boss - Thunderstorm. After moving to the Gloomy Valley, run down to the capsule again and engage in a fight with the enemy.
There is a tactic that makes it relatively easy to deal with the boss. To do this, first deal with the elite enemy and ordinary mobs called by the Thunderstorm. Then run back towards the checkpoint, but don't get close to it - instead, turn around and start shooting opponents through the hole that Storm can't get through.
Once you've dealt with the enemy, you'll receive a Super Charge mutator and a Wooden Shank. Now go to Block 13 and talk to Wallace sitting on the tower. Purchase the Serrated Rootblade engram from him for 1000 Scrap and 10 Luminite Crystals. As a result, you will be able to open a new class.
Invader Features
This archetype is mainly aimed at close combat, and thanks to its abilities, it can significantly increase the hero's survivability even in direct collisions with dangerous enemies. He can be described as a tank/assassin.
You can further increase his survivability by combining with classes such as Fighter, Alchemist or Medic.
Skills
The first two improve evasion and allow you to deal massive damage with melee attacks. The third one looks the most interesting - it makes it possible, as it were, to save the current state of the character and return to it at any time within 30 seconds, that is, if you see, for example, that the battle with the boss did not go the way you wanted, then just apply the skill and try again.
Primary Skill
Allows you to install a blende that distracts opponents. At the same time, your damage is increased by 5% when attacking enemies that do not hit your hero.
Techniques
They allow you to reduce the attention of enemies to your character when using relics, reduce the consumption of stamina for dodging and sliding, as well as increase damage and endow allies with lifesteal.
Core Talent
Increases the effectiveness of evasion even more, which has a positive effect on the amount of damage taken and the survivability of the hero.
