In Genshin Impact chests in the Meropid fortress are slightly different from chests in other locations, since in addition to standard treasures you can also find premium coupons. Some of them are in open areas, while others are hidden behind puzzles and quests. In this guide, we will show you the locations of all the chests in the underwater prison.
Where to find chests in Meropid Fortress
In this area you can find 14 regular, luxury and amazing chests, but only the first of them contain 30 premium coupons. For this reason, if you only need this currency, then simply go to the section where we talk about ordinary chests.
Amazing chest 1
Move to the administrative floor of the underwater prison, turn right and run towards the coupon canteen. Then climb onto its roof, where you will find a green casket, inside which is hidden a drawing of the furniture ““Maison Cardinalice’s Lockbox””.

Move to the teleporter on the top floor where the barracks are located and go into the northern tunnel. At the fork near Rosolino, turn right into the post office. Normal chest 1
Travel to the teleporter on the bar level, then run west and enter the tunnel leading to the Erosion Channel. Turn left and right in front of the stairs you will find the chest you need.
Regular chest 2
Teleport to the "Production Area: Lower Level" and go east to the elevator that goes up. To the left of it is a terminal - interact with it to go to the video finder. Point the camera at the picture of the gear, then look at the red light to change the angle and look at the picture of the second gear in the distance. As a result, a white light will appear under it.
Exit camera mode and go to the southern part of the current location. Next to the boxes you will find a sign. Interact with it to reveal a regular chest.

Go to the teleporter on the barracks level and then look to the right and you will see two notes on the wall. Study either of them, and then tear them both off. Turn around and you will see a piece of paper on the other wall next to the teleporter - you need to tear it off too. Next, Mopual will begin a dialogue with you. He will thank you, after which a chest will appear next to your character.
Regular chest 4
Head to the administration floor and head towards the Rags and Bones store. Enter the tunnel, but don't turn right - instead, go to the punching bag and hit it once to reveal a chest.
Regular chest 5
To get it, first of all, get Pankration Fonta Cup", having completed the world quest "Both Brains and Brawn". Then find a guard named Goncourt in the southwestern part of the administrative level, not far from the passage to the Ring, and talk to him. Agree to fight him in a duel.
After this, you will be automatically transferred to the arena. Defeat the guard, who doesn't look much different from some treasure thief, and then open the chest that appears nearby.
Regular chest 6
To get it, first of all, get Pankration Fonta Cup", having completed the world quest "Both Brains and Brawn". Now go to the Ring and chat with Rusimov. He will want to fight you - agree. You will be immediately transported to the arena. Defeat the leader and take the contents of the chest that appears nearby.
Regular chest 7
Teleport to the Manufacturing Area: Lower Level, then run left to the elevator and ride it up to the upper floor. Exit the elevator, turn right and pick up the red energy storage device near the box. Then place it near the punching bag.
Interact with the terminal on the right to activate the video finder. Point the camera at the red light to change the angle. Then look at the charged drive (turquoise color) below and press "Enter" to take energy from it. Give it to the drive that you previously placed near the pear.
Exit camera mode and approach the pear. If necessary, place the battery closer to it. Then hit the device so that a regular chest appears nearby.

Before you can get it, you will need to complete quest chains "Unfinished Comedy" And "Scenes from Life in Meropide". Then move to the Production Site: lower level and run to its western part. Go to the edge of the area and jump into the water.
Next, start picking up wooden boxes floating in the water. There are three boxes in total you need to explore. After this, a dialogue with the guard Grenvel will begin, upon completion of which you will receive a chest.
Regular Chest 9 and Amazing Chest 3

You will be able to get it after completing the world quest "Safety", where you will have to open the eastern passage using the drive valve and help Mitul, who is trapped.
