Deer heads in Alan Wake 2: where to find and how to get rewards

Playing as the second protagonist Alan Wake 2 Saga Anderson, you are sure to come across more than one deer head wall hanging along your journey.

In total, twelve such heads can be found in the game. If you find them all, you can acquire several useful items for the main character. In this guide we will tell you exactly where all the necessary interior items are located.

Where to find all the deer heads in Alan Wake 2

In order for the find to be counted, you must approach the stuffed animal and press the interact button. After this, Saga will touch the head and you can continue your search.

Separately, it is worth noting that if you decide to find all the heads, then you need to do this before the start of the seventh chapter, “Return 7: Ritual.” After completing the sixth act, you will not be able to return to collecting these items.

The search for stuffed animals should be done in the order given in our guide, since not all of them will be available immediately, but will only open as you progress through the story.

Next, take the door handle.

Now run to the room marked on the map and you will find a scarecrow there, as well as new gun for Saga.

How to get rewards for deer heads

After you visit all the places described above, return to Bright Falls, where you found the second head.

Once inside the building, turn left and you will see a live deer. Run after him to the end of the corridor and look around the room he entered. The deer itself won't be there, but you'll find ammo, flares, and healing supplies for Saga here.

Unfortunately, you will not receive any achievements for finding all the deer heads. However, additional supplies will help you in the encounter with bosses that will certainly occur in the following chapters.
