Featured Characters
To go through this world, all heroes who master the electric, imaginary or air elements are suitable as damage dealers, since it is to them that the main boss of the dimension, Yanqing, is vulnerable. These elements will also be useful to you to destroy the blades that the lieutenant of the Cloud Knights summons.
Don't forget to take healers or shielders to maintain the squad's survivability. Locha, Hoho and Baylu are perfect for the role of healers, since they will not only heal allies, but also remove the negative effects of freezing, and will also help you in depleting the stamina of your opponents. As for the shield warriors, at the moment none of them has the necessary element to break through Yanqing’s vulnerability. But they will still be useful as protectors that will allow you to survive the worst hits.
Characters from the Harmony and Oblivion paths will help you deplete your stamina faster and defeat your enemies. Among them there is a fairly wide selection of allies who have the required element.
Next, we will tell you more about some of the heroes who will help you successfully complete this challenge.
Character | Peculiarities |
---|---|
Dan Heng: Moon Eater |
A strong damage dealer with an imaginary element. Capable of inflicting high damage to both single targets and groups of enemies. It will be especially useful in the 8th world, since most monsters here are vulnerable to its element. |
Locha |
Can easily maintain the viability of the entire team even in difficult battles. Using your ultimate and basic attacks, it will also reduce the durability of your opponents. |
Yukun |
An excellent buffer that can increase the attack power and crits of its allies. You can get it completely free for completing Chronicles of the Drifting Ark 1. |
Jing Yuan |
Capable of inflicting high electrical damage over an area. He will be able to deal with all enemies without any problems, especially since many of them are vulnerable to its element. |
Tingyun |
Will be an excellent ally for any damage dealer who relies on attack power. Will help you replenish energy and action points faster, draining your opponents' stamina in the process. |
Kafka |
In teams that play from periodic damage, he will play the role of a main DD, who will be able to inflict high electrical damage to the area and single targets. |
Blade |
A strong damage dealer with the wind element. It is quite simple to assemble, and if you have a suitable healer, it will become practically invulnerable and will be able to constantly deal high damage over an area. |
Armor |
One of the best buffers. It will be useful for absolutely any damage dealer, as it increases not only attack power, but also critical and all outgoing damage in general. If necessary, it can also be used to break through wind vulnerabilities. |
xoxo |
An excellent healer who has the elements suitable for this world. In addition to high healing, it will buff the attack power of allies and restore their energy. |
Dan Heng |
Free main DD with air element. With the right enhancing blessings, he will become a good ally who will help you pass all the trials of this world. |
Optimal commands
To go through this world, you can select many work units. The most important thing is not to forget about leveling up all your allies. They must have the minimum level recommended for each difficulty, upgraded tracks, and proper equipment. If you have everything in order with the collection of allies, then with the help of suitable blessings you will pass this test without any problems.

The first team is a completely F2P option, in which Natasha keeps all allies alive, Yukun gives a fairly strong buff, and Dan Heng and Serval deal the main damage.
The next two teams are a common example of how all allies are matched to the needs of a strong main damage dealer, allowing him to deal massive damage. When choosing buffers, do not forget that for Dan Heng you need to look for heroes who can restore action points. For Blade, shield warriors and characters who increase attack power will be useless.
The fourth unit is played mainly from bonus attacks. Not only Topaz, but also the blessings of the Path of Joy can increase their damage.
In the next squad, the Silver Wolf will cut off defenses and impose a quantum vulnerability on enemies, which will allow the use of extremely strong heroines of this element, even in this world where not a single boss has a corresponding weakness.
The last team is played from periodic damage. The Path of Non-existence can strengthen this squad as much as possible. Moreover, all allies have suitable elements, so they will drain Yanqing’s stamina without any problems.
Best Paths and Blessings
Absolutely any Paths are suitable for passing this test, since all of them will effectively help you deal damage to enemies. Next, we'll take a closer look at Destruction and Spread, since they not only deal enormous damage to monsters, but also increase the survivability of the squad.
Path of Destruction
The advantage of this Path is the fact that it can both strengthen characters and increase damage from lost HP, and protect them by increasing maximum health and giving shields.
It is worth choosing resonance formation in the following order:
- Formation of resonance: Large helium flash. With a 150% chance, it applies a special effect to the enemy, due to which his defense is reduced and he receives additional damage.
- Formation of resonance: Cataclysmic variable. Consumes up to 40% of the heroes' HP, in return increasing the damage of Path Resonance and giving allies a shield equal to the lost health. If you are experiencing problems with survival, then you should pay attention first of all to this formation. With a good healer, you will quickly restore HP, but at the same time get fairly strong protective barriers.
- Formation of resonance: Event horizon. Path Resonance can be activated for free twice per battle if any of the characters' HP drops below 35%. It will also increase survivability and help destroy opponents faster.
Blessings include the following buffs:
- Destruction Regression Inequality (Enhanced): Damage is reduced by 15% and distributed among all characters.
- Inverse Antimatter Equation (Enhanced): When HP is below 50%, the hero gains up to 20 levels of Morale, which increases attack power and defense.
- Catastrophic Resonance: If the hero has Morale levels, when he hits an enemy, he will spend 10% of his HP, in return dealing damage equal to 60% of the health expended.
- Corrective Flicker (enhanced): if after a hit the hero’s HP is less than 35%, then he can restore from 12% to 20% of health.
- Reflection (enhanced): when receiving a finishing blow once per battle, the hero can be resurrected, while restoring 30% of his HP.
- Instability streak: when receiving damage or losing HP, the hero additionally restores 4 energy.
- Primal Black Hole (Enhanced): Each Path of Destruction card obtained can increase attack power by 7%, up to 9 times.
Spread Path
You can open this Path by playing the Swarm Invasion mode. You will learn how to pass it in separate guide. While heroes who play basic attacks will benefit the most from Resonance, it will also benefit other allies. Almost all damage dealers in the game spend a large amount of action points, and Propagation restores them and gives various bonuses based on their use.
Next, we indicated which resonance formations should be given priority on this Path:
- Formation of resonance: Crystal stings. The hero receives a special state of Metamorphosis, in which his damage increases by 40%. It also inflicts Spores on enemies, which cause air damage when they explode.
- Formation of resonance: Proboscis. Metamorphoses last 1 turn longer, and when a character with this enhancement destroys an enemy, the resonance of the Path additionally restores energy.
- Resonance formation: Phenolic compounds. The maximum number of Path Resonance uses increases to two. It restores additional energy every time your Action Points change, allowing you to activate it more often.
Below we will point out a few particularly useful Distribution blessings:
- Fungal Pustule: When the hero regains an action point, two random enemies can receive a spore.
- Limb Mow (Enhanced): Your next action after using your ultimate will count as spending an additional skill point. For one such expenditure of crit. Ally damage increases by 45%. The bonus stacks up to two times and ends after the character's turn.
- Lysing Enzyme (Enhanced): Damage from spores increases by 50%. They can also spread from a defeated enemy to remaining opponents.
- Excitatory Gland (Enhanced): When the number of action points drops to 0, the basic attack restores another one, with a fifty percent chance of two points.
- Catalyst (enhanced): If a hero uses a skill that does not attack enemies, the damage of all his allies increases by 30%. The bonus stacks three times and lasts for 1 turn.
- Scaly Wing: Using a basic attack increases the hero's speed by 16%.
- Compound Eye: At the beginning of the battle, heroes regain an action point after their turn. The bonus is triggered three times.
- Sporangium (Enhanced): Using Action Points restores an additional 4 Energy.
- Vesicle (enhanced): using action points restores 15% of the hero's HP.
General Tips
To make it as easy as possible for you to pass the test, when choosing blessings after battles, you should stick to the chosen Path in order to open Resonance and its formations as early as possible. It is advisable that already in the first or second room you collect three cards of the required type. If you are completely unlucky with boosts, then you can restart the World. To reset your first attempt, exit the challenge no sooner than you enter the second zone.
You'll have a better chance of collecting the cards you need by choosing battle zones rather than event zones. Don't neglect the opportunity to buy a 1-star blessing from Gerta.
If you are not offered the blessings of your Path, then you can take Conservation or Abundance cards, as they will increase the survivability of your squad. Any power-ups that provide bonuses to your heroes’ stats, such as crits or attack power, will also be useful. So you should pass all the elite enemies without any problems and get to the final boss.
How to defeat Cloud Knight Lieutenant: Yanqing
Next, we will look at how the final boss will act in various phases of the battle with him.
Phase 1
In this part of the battle you will not have to deal with any assistants, it is enough to deal with Yanqing himself as quickly as possible. It is capable of dealing fairly high damage to a single target, while also freezing it, which can affect your usual rotation. You can avoid this by removing weaknesses from your allies and breaking through your enemy’s vulnerability, thereby delaying his actions.
Phase 2
In this phase, Yanqing summons his allies: four swords. Each of them has one hidden vulnerability, but in any case it will correspond to that of the boss: electric, imaginary or air. You don't have to deplete their durability to get rid of the blades. But it is imperative to destroy them, because as long as they are present on the field, the blades will not only attack you, but also hide the boss’s weaknesses. Thus, you can spend quite a lot of time and effort to move to the next phase.
Phase 3
The last part of the fight is similar to the previous phase: Yanqing will summon 4 blades and hide his vulnerabilities. It is vital to destroy the swords as quickly as possible. While they are on the field, the boss will prepare a particularly powerful attack "Movement of clouds, rivers of dreams", during which he will perform several consecutive ice strikes on one target. Her strength increases in proportion to the number of blades, so it is important to get rid of at least a few of them.
After this attack, all swords will disappear and the boss's vulnerabilities will be revealed. It is important to try to finish him off at this moment in order to complete the battle as soon as possible and receive the well-deserved rewards.
