    "Spy in the Jungle" expansion Phantom Liberty For Cyberpunk 2077 is another additional quest that the main character will receive from Mr. Hands. The essence of the task is to find a missing person who worked for Brazilian intelligence.

    From this guide you will learn where to find an agent, how to win a fight with the main bandit, and also what to do with the biomonitor - hand it over to the agents or throw it in the place where you found it.

    How to start the quest

    After you complete the fifth story mission "Old Wounds", run to the coastal slums, or rather to their eastern part. Once in the old courtyards, you will receive a call from Mr. Hands - he will tell you the details of the order.

    You are tasked with finding one of the Brazilian intelligence agents, Mark Banu. This was asked by two of his colleagues, who for some reason hide the man’s disappearance from senior management. You also have to deal with this.

    Infiltrate the Paradise Hotel

    First of all, go to a hotel called “Paradise”. Finding it will not be difficult; it is located not far from the place where you will talk with Mr. Hands. Right during the conversation, a marker will appear on the map indicating where you need to move.

    Find number 203

    Once inside, you will need to find room number two hundred and three. There is only one open access staircase inside the hotel; take it to the 3rd floor. Once you do this, turn right; the number you need will be right in front of you.

    Inside you will find two agents. Chat with them and after a short conversation they will decide that you are suitable for them to carry out the assignment.

    Next you will be told about the missing man. Six months ago, he was wounded in a shootout, managed to record a voice message asking for help, and then disappeared. However, the agent's biomonitor suddenly turned on and began to move throughout the city.

    According to the latest data, the signal comes from the Natural History Museum at Terra Cognita. But there is one more problem: the signal was tracked not only by agents, but also by “scavengers”, dominated by the dangerous criminal Boris Rybakov.

    Get to the museum

    After you find out everything about your opponents, head to the museum where the signal last came from. A marker will appear on the map - move towards it. Just before the entrance, several enemies await you, deal with them.

    You won't be able to get inside through the door, so use the window that can be found a little to the left of the door. The window can be opened using force - three skill points are required.

    Once inside the room, turn right and log in through your personal port. Once you do this, you will hear the voice of the missing agent. You will learn from him that Mark is wounded and he is surrounded by “scavengers.” You need to head towards the main hall of the building.

    Go to the main hall

    Run to the other end of the room, there will be a door - enter it. There will be enemies everywhere, besides them, beware of mines. You need to move towards the passage that leads to the next room. Follow the sign, eliminating enemies along the way.

    In the next room, immediately turn right. There will be a ladder and several enemies, destroy them and go up to the floor above. Go forward along the corridor and you will find a door to the museum. Please note that in addition to the marker indicating the direction of movement, there will be a luminous arrow and an inscription on the wall "Museum" .

    When you approach the door, you will hear Mark, who will say that you need to go through the room and go upstairs.

    Head to the other end of the hall, you will see a door. When interacting with her, the leader of the “scavengers” will appear.

    Kill Rybakov

    The most unpleasant thing about the battle is that the boss moves very quickly, scattering grenades around him. It will not be possible to detect him until he appears. When you take down half of his lives, you will have to defeat the drones to continue the battle.

    As a reward for killing Rybakov, you will receive a cult weapon. You will also find a chip with information that Boris was ordered to kill a certain Katya Karelina.

    Find the missing agent

    Walk into the room and find that it is empty. Use the scanner and you will find a hidden door to the right of the entrance. It will open immediately.

    You will meet a stranger inside. During the dialogue, it turns out that this is the same Katya Karelina, whom Rybakov was supposed to remove. The girl needs the agency's help.

    She worked for the Soviet corporation Sovoil and was their interrogator. However, at one point she herself became their target and is now trying to escape.

    She will tell you that she was involved in the death of Mark Bana. Ana, who will be in touch at this moment, will say that you need to kill Katya and take the biomonitor. After this, the agent will disconnect.

    Katya, in turn, will offer to negotiate. She will give you the biomon plus give you the location of the cache in exchange for you letting her go. If you make a deal, you will open an additional task called “Spy Treasure”.

    If you kill Katya, you won't find the hiding place. You can remove it after you find out the coordinates of the secret place.

    Hand over the biomonitor to agents

    After you decide what to do with Karelina, grab the biomon and run to the exit. To do this, return to the main hall - right opposite the door you will find an exit to the street.

    Next, it will be necessary to transfer the equipment to Brazilian agents. However, on the way to them you will receive a message from Steven Santos, who will ask you not to do this, but to leave the biomon in the cache.

    A marker will appear on the map indicating the location of the parcel terminal where you want to take the biomonitor. If you do this, the task will be accepted and you will receive a reward from Mr. Hands.

    If you choose the option to return to the agents, you will again be faced with a choice: give up the biomon or break it.

    • If you decide not to destroy the equipment, you will subsequently meet Santos, who will tell you how the fate of the agents turned out: one is on the run, and the second is in life imprisonment. The quest, of course, will be counted.
    • If you destroy the biomon, the task will also be completed. Mr. Hands will call you and transfer the payment.
