Addicted to Chaos in Cyberpunk 2077: where to find a cache with a cult weapon

    MoriSensei

"Addicted to Chaos" in the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 is a small task during which you can get the iconic shotgun "Deserter". You will learn how to start the task and where to find the shotgun in our guide.

How to start the "Addicted to Chaos" quest

In order "The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman" save Leon Rynder's life. There are several ways to do this.

Towards the end of the dialogue, answer Rinder “I advise you to choose your words”, and after that "Give me your badge" or "Call Regina and ask for help.". In any of the options, Rinder will remain alive, and after a few days he will send V a message with the coordinates of his hiding place.

    Where to find the cache

The garage with Rinder's belongings is located between the coastal slums and Terra Cognita, and the easiest way to get to it is from the travel point "Terra Cognita Technology Park".

Then follow the bridge with the "par ing" sign. The cache is located in the garage with the access terminal. Enter the numbers that Rinder sent you on the code panel: 1975, and go into the garage.

    Items and terminal

    Shotgun

Iconic Shotgun "Deserter" lies in a gun box in the middle of the garage. It is a powerful weapon with one peculiarity: when fired, V spontaneously combusts.

    Cloth

Located to the right of the shotgun in a box. Does not have unique value.

    Terminal with Rinder's backstory

Near the left wall of the garage you can also find a terminal with a file and a message about Leon Rinder.

From them it becomes clear that Rinder began to lose his memory, and his comrades began to abandon him, and then Hansen himself. He did not help Rinder in any way, and the former mercenary had to raise money for his treatment himself. So he ended up in a motel with organ traffickers.

    Possible problems with the task

Prior to patch 2.02, Rinder's Garage could be accessed before receiving the quest if V had 20 Tech Points, or if you already knew the code to the door. With the release of patch 2.02, this error was corrected and before the start of the task, the terminal with the code panel will simply be disabled.

"Forsaken - Fixed an issue where it would sometimes be impossible to complete the quest if you emptied the stash before receiving the code message."

Also, the task can complete itself when you simply approach the garage. If this happens, move away from the garage and return to it again. The task will become active again.

We hope that our guide helped you find the cache and take the iconic weapon.
